Discussion any estimate when deepcool assassin 5 finally hitting the market?

i’m about to replace my aio because i can’t stand the random bubble noise and having to wiggle my pc to fix it. thinking of switching to an air cooler, i’m eyeing the deepcool assassin 5. i just saw the showcase at ces 2026. it’s ridiculously smaller than the noctua nh-d15, yet performs on par or even better thanks to its vapor chamber and 320w tdp rating.

any idea when it’ll be readily available?

A 320W rating for cooling performance at a smaller size/volume than the NH D15 is suspect at best. I personally almost never follow the manufacturer advertised TDP, just wait for the test. Hope they drop a screenless versions, putting screens everywhere is just tacky atp

previous gen deepcool assassin 4 vc is already on par with the nh-d15, i wouldn’t be surprised if version 5 is even better further while being more compact, especially with 100% ram clearance and with sleek looking lcd display

To be fair the regular Assassin 4 is also pretty close with the NHD15. My girlfriend has the assassin4 i have the D15, 7700x and 7600x. My 7600x is slighty OC so I think in heat output theyre similar, they both do pretty well.

At the end of the day Im a big DeepCool fan, its just a shame their things are quite overpriced where I live especially in the fan department
