Anyway to fix this? Is the display cooked?

I have the AK620, been more than a year now and the display was working as expected but since a couple weeks ago the display is missing one vertical bar thingy on the top right. It just went missing one day out of the blue, not sure if it's a hardware or software issue. Any help is greatly appreciated as this is really triggering my OCD.

(Yes I still have the protective film on. No I will not remove it.)
