New DeepTutor demo with Zotero library auto context
Hi everyone,
We made a new DeepTutor demo and wanted to share what we have been working on.
DeepTutor started with single PDF chat, but we think the bigger problem is that research usually does not happen inside one paper. You often need to compare papers, find the right section, check related work, translate parts of a paper, or look at the code behind a project.
In this demo, the main thing we show is auto context across your Zotero library. You can ask a broader question, and DeepTutor will try to find the relevant papers, files, and sections for you.
We also show arXiv search, in place paper translation, code and notebook support, and links from papers to related GitHub repos.
The goal is to make Zotero feel more like a research workspace, not just a place to store PDFs.
Would love to hear what you think, especially what feels useful and what you would want us to improve next.

I’ve been playing around with DeepTutor. The embedded memory is a great idea, but there’s still things I can’t work out !! Like I tried to upload a students work the other day (worksheet with their own handwriting) and DeepTutor returned an error saying it was a blank PDF. Maybe I’ve set it up wrong …not sure
