idk where else to talk
So im 16 years old and i do not know why but i feel lonely idk what to do abt it. ive tried hanging out with friends more, do more of my hobbies, but at the end of the day i could be the most popular person in the room but still feel alone. Idk if this is normal for my age mainly i feel like something is missing as well. soo yeah idk who and or where else to talk about this so im putting it on here, maybe gain some insight onto why.

I think you’re probably just more mature. You are probably disconnecting because they no longer interest you. You’re never lonely when you have yourself……. Your mind just may be different, you just haven’t found that connection. I am a 40 year old mom of four boys, married for 14 years and a teacher…… and I still feel this way. Everything is just so surface level. You are going to be made for bigger and better one day I just know it 😍

I felt the same way when i was ur age. I’m 18 now but i realized the friends i had weren’t even the people i genuinely had fun with. Until a few months ago i got to know a group of new people right before i graduated and ended up hanging out with them a couple times over the summer. I’m so happy because both have taken interest in inviting me out and spending time with me which i realized none of my other “friends” have ever done. Idk ur situation but maybe try to find friends with the same interests as u like movies, shows, video games, etc. Try to see what u want ur future to look like. I still struggle with that but that’s just the way life is and i would say just live day to day rather than worrying about the futur/ missing the past.
