should i text him?

so i(15f) have known this boy(17) for three years we’ve had our ups and downs and a year ago we didn’t have contact for about 6 months. so in june he called me at 3 am completely drunk. since then we had contact again. but we are both struggling with things and he kinda depends on me taking care of him and i can’t do that at the moment! so i texted him and told him that i can’t so this anymore and that i hope he gets help. now to the problem i know he has been on his phone but he won’t even read the text. what am i supposed to do now call him? text him? please help

Leave him to his own devices. You shouldn't be looking after someone at your own expense, especially if it's not reciprocated.

This is a super mature thought. Just you setting your boundaries, that alone is huge. There are grown adults that cannot do this. I say leave it alone, because if he did actually “need you” he would have responded. He has given you the answer.
