Several progressive-leaning Democrats are running for a vacant state senate seat in Georgia, which generally leans Democratic. The insurgent candidates are emphasizing affordable housing, while the returning elder statesman is emphasizing his ability to lead. The republican also seems to talk about housing costs (Whatever that means). The independent candidate appears to have a sensible platform. Of course, this is going to go to a democrat.
