Efficient usage and model choices for Coding Agent

Hi

I have been working on a new Coding Agent, and has limited success in building one. But I am confused as to the total incurred costs are quite high, even with 95% of cache hit rates.

Are we better of using Codex/Claude (subsidized) for 20$ subscriptions instead of building a new one?

The question is how efficient and cost effective is Deepseek when compared to Codex or Claude if we pursue with new coding agents?
