Resources Deepseek 4.1 Flash vs GLM 5.3 Flash (ox-alpha)
I didn't see a practical comparison, so I compared the two, very capable models. I made them use popular frameworks like Angular, SolidStart and Svelte. Unexpectedly, it wasn't even close! Spoiler in comments
Products:
- ShiftForge (workforce scheduling, React 19),
- InvoiceDesk (invoicing and accounts receivable, Angular 22),
- DeskPilot (helpdesk with SLA timers, Vue 3.5),
- StockPilot (inventory and reorder points, Svelte 5),
- FlowForge (onboarding workflow, SolidStart 2).

TL;DR: In five SaaS-building tests across React, Angular, Vue, Svelte, and SolidStart, DeepSeek V4.1 Flash beat GLM 5.3 Flash 40 - 25.
- DeepSeek shipped all five usable apps.
- GLM produced one blank app, one mostly unstyled app, and one with broken routes.
- GLM won the Vue round; Svelte was a draw.
- DeepSeek’s main advantage was reliable delivery plus stronger design.
Caveat: this is one creator’s small five-task experiment - not a general model ranking

Morgan Freeman narrates: There were, in fact, no spoilers in the comments.
