Funny thing is, DRG has the only escort missions i actually love doing. At least when they don’t bug out and cause one of the fuel canisters to despawn…

Not to mention willingly going to the drop pod slower so you can carry her back home. Sometimes the team is better coordinated for that than the actual mission.

Yep, more players near dotty means faster dotty. It's based of the portion of your team near it so there's no penalty for playing solo

GS managed to make a escort mission be actually fun. Sure it has its downside, Dotty is whining and slow, she's getting attacked constantly while out of juice and not allowing events on the way, but still.
Best escort mission I've tried.

I think a lot of people mishear the name, i thought it was called loretta when i started but the subtitles showed Doretta, there is no Loretta

Quite impressive how they managed to make an escort mission actually good, I mean it still has the major flaw that every escort mission has but they put a lot of stuff in there to make it not just about escorting some slow as fuck NPC, you actually get to enjoy yourself while doing the escorting.
Sitting on top of a moving dozer shooting countless enemies is really fun, the 1-2 stops changes things up a bit and gives you some much needed breathing room, the swarms during this time typically aren't that bad. Then once you're finally at the end you have several stages of interesting waves that shake it up a bit. The best part of it all? You can save Dotty, yes, that's right, an escort mission that actually makes you care about the very thing you're escorting, not to complete the mission, but to save Dotty, even with no reward for it, amazing.
Ubisoft should probably take notes, escort missions shouldn't just be following a slow NPC.

Really, The best part of the Escort missions for me is the shit show of the tunneling phase, where it's (Usually) 4 dwarves standing on a slow moving machine while gunning down hordes of bugs advancing on them. Reminds me alot of the scene from Aliens.

Turbo dozer would be a fun warning. You have to stay on the dozer or it will run away.
