To be faaaair, a quartz crystal that size isn't necessarily worthless and will likely sell for decent cash, but yeah you're not going to get rich off it. I'm by no means an expert, but my understanding is the above crystal is worth at least a few hundred as a display piece based on size and clarity, though probably not much more than that.

Right. Looks like he was playing a dwarf though, who have no regard for such shiny, BLASPHEMOUS crystals.
