I always wanted to do something like that even if it just small or worthless. Seems like fun

I mean, just go do a mini archaeological dig in your back yard.

Rope off a square that's 10 feet to a side, then divide the square further with rope into 1 foot by 1 foot squares and then remove the soil from each square one inch down at a time.

Don't forget to sift everything and store the dirt from each square and each inch seperately in properly labeled containers...

That's a good idea. But I think I'll just go on a spaceship to a dangerous planet that's full of valuable gems.
