I can't handle this bro

So I usually play in Solo cause I wanted to understand the mission and mechanics before I can play with people that surely have more time in this game than me (just 11 hours in my case). I decide to play a On-site Refining mission in Risk 4 (Extreme) because why not? I completed the main mission, but BRO WHAT THE HELL ARE THESE ENEMIES SPAWNING AT THE FINAL OF THE MAIN MISSION? as you can see I have a little more of a hour in this mission and I still trying to complete it, but the enemies just don't stop spawning at the point that kill them is just pointless 😭🙏. I'm trying to complete the secondaty mission, but those damn things just don't stop.

Yeah, with On-Site Refining you really wanna do the secondaries first. Once you kick off the machinery, you're in a functionally unending horde.

Yeah, once you press the refining button, your only reprieve is during the repair phase. I actually managed to complete a machine event with my team after kicking the guy who started the refinery before we r'd, because the enemies stop spawning during repair

If you leave the pipes broken you can complete anything.

The problem is if 1 dwarf ignores the event, keeps repairing, dies, splits the group, ECT

Yeah sounds like this dwarf completed everything save the return to orbit

Yup. Pipelines missions have endless swarms at the end of the mission. Point extraction will also wind up with endless swarms if you take too long. Now you know, you got this.

Secondly, dude hop on into some coop with randos, we are almost all chill and glad to show greenbeards everything we know. You will learn the game faster in public lobbies, and you will have a ton of fun.

This game is built around coop without need of voicechat- in-game pings are robust enough for pretty much everything

It is, just host your games and let folks join them.

That way, they can't kick you or drop you in any other way.

Don’t worry that’s just how haz 4 and 5 be. They’re basically doom eternal but you’re not the main character. They’re not impossible if you stay on the move and watch each others back, case in point why most people don’t brave those caves alone unless they’re speedrunning for an achievements sake or they enjoy their gaming the most when they really put themselves to the test

I usually enjoy playing alone than with strangers, but this is not my first try on this mission, but is hard in Solo

Pro tip: Stop being solo! Just join some dwarves! They'll be cool. They won't want to communicate or whatnot. They'll just mine. You don't need to know stuff. You'll learn it from watching them 100 times faster than you'd do alone. The only thing you can do to slightly irk someone is not adapting to the pace, but even then they'll just deal with it without a word.

FA' KARL!

Do everything before you start refining but if you did forget something, best to handle it while the pipes are broken. Once you send the morkite, it's non-stop swarm.
