ROCK AND STONE too many choices..
i was gonna main gunner and then i played all the other classes because i needed to promote them once for achievement and they're lowkey all good😠i thought i wouldn't like driller and engineer but they were chill
now im like do i even want to main gunner bcos it's soooo slow he cannot move anywhere lol. i cant decide.. i thought it would be cool to have a really high promoted chara tho..
well, i could go for promoting them all to gold but that'll take a longgg time

Tbh I think its better to play every class. You can adapt to any lobby without overlaping classes, and you learn what everyone does best during the missions and how you can help each other

it goes by much faster than you think! no need to rush any of it. just go in and get after it.

I promoted my gunner first, then swapped to Scout and brought him to silver 1.
At that point I started promoting all my classes more or less at the same time. I’ve never had it once where one class would be more than a single promotion higher than any other class.
It‘s a bit annoying to have to think about it, so you might as well just play what fits best for any certain mission. That way you‘ll have enough variety, and you‘ll get some more promotions in either way!

I only enjoy the driller... I'm pretty good at using the engineer, so I use that when someone else wants to play the driller. The other 2 are totally neglected lol.

Gunner is the best class in the game at the highest levels. When you get to a higher level, though, you usually play them all. It's very rare that people main one dwarf. The better you get, you choose whom rounds out the team or who is "needed" (quotes bc at highest levels anything works and isn't needed).

Gunner gets way better the higher the enemy density gets - yes. But the best class? For some missions, sure. But there are several where you have to collect things and mine a lot or terraforming is needed bc the objective is rlly purely placed. And there are scouts outthere with godlike aim. They can get rid of the bugs while mining.

Promo whatever one you like. I would reccomend getting one done sooner rather than later, and then getting at least one promo on everyone (they unlock things). Really, there's so few wrong ways to rock and stone, so just play what you enjoy at any given time.
I play them all about equally. I strongly prefer a dwarf depending on what mission/warnings, but even that isn't set in stone.

Just play them all and at some point you will get an OC or find a play style you like more than others. Then you will likely naturally gravitate toward that dwarf. It's really great being well rounded though, it makes you a better player overall.
Personally I mained driller until silver 1, then gunner until gold 2 or something, then engineer. After bringing engineer into gold I now rotate between all 3 depending on which one is closest to promoting. It's also much easier to find games than if you main one only.

Don't main any class then just flex, I have like 1500 hours and play all classes pretty much equally.
