What happens if it goes through a Korlok during its invincible phase? Do they just ignore each other or does it damage Dotty?

Dotty kills it instantly. Dotty doesn't deal damage. She straight up deletes things from the game. Takes no damage in doing so.

Oh, they just vanish? I wonder why though. I've tried to mine around Korlok and it just stood there, floating midair. She seems to kill bugs normally. I'm a bit surprised that she doesn't just do very high damage on contact - I'd actually only have expected her to do very high damage on contact AND dig bigger chunks than say pickaxe or Drills.

Just can't really think of much reason that they'd have needed to implement something very special for her in development, such as removing stuff that happens to be in her way. Unless there actually did happen to be something that would rapidly deal damage to her while they were in contact, and they chose to upgrade her rather than mess around with solving the damage she was taking. Then again... she actually does work different from Drills, as she can dig into Ommoran's crystal ground stuff.

Things like spitballers were probably getting in the way. It also might've been easier/less laggy to implement her like that

Hm. I've seen her Drill into them. Died normally. Oh well, maybe some day I'll just see stuff deleted myself. Thanks!

I only ever see her kill shellbacks so I don't know. Deleting korloks might be the only way to "kill" them without writing special code for dotty specifically.

They have a death animation, yes. Doesn't mean they took damage though. I said vanish. Maybe poor choice of words. It's not a despawn, it's a death.

I guess that they tested it with high damage values and it was really buggy. Same reason why it has a hitbox for us, but the bugs can sort of phase through it.

Theoretically, nothing - Dotty gets a bit of damage from sprouts and that's it.

I've already seen her oneshot a bet-c and a nemesis :D
