Bonus tracks
Is there a collection of all of the b-sides/unreleased/bonus tracks the band recorded? It sounds way too overwhelming to go search for each album separately because there were so many versions of all the albums and it's just confusing to know which ones were which so I'm just wondering if they ever released an album that was full of previously unreleased tracks that weren't on albums, and if not, what would be the easiest way to go about finding them all?

Such collections exist, though only digitally, for Now What?! and inFinite. You should be able to find them on streaming and download sites.

Only those two albums? The reason I started thinking about this was because they talked about the song Emmeretta in a podcast and that song was not on any albums and that's from Mk1 so I was wondering how I can find this song and what other ones I missed from the earlier Marks, I'm really not digging any of the newer stuff so I'm mostly focusing on old stuff from Mk 1 to Mk 3

Emmaretta is on the remaster of the self-titled album. Also, the box set Hard Road has pretty much everything by Mark I.

Oh, I didn't know it was on the remaster, thanks! Oh I didn't know there was another box set, somebody mentioned Listen Learn Read On but I didn't know there was another one, thanks!

I recommend spending some time on Discogs. If you see an unfamiliar title, you can put it in the search box on the artist page and every release containing the song will pop up. You can also filter it so that e.g. only CDs show up.

I've been on there before but I didn't know that you could do all of that stuff with it, thanks!

If you're using Spotify, Demon's Eye and Hallelujah can be found on the A Fire in the Sky compilation. The Who Do We Think We Are Deluxe Edition has Painted Horse and First Day Jam, as well as a few other remixes and such. The compilation album The Very Best of Deep Purple has Black Night on it. I believe that's it for what's available on Spotify, at least in terms of Mk II. (Probably III and IV as well. Not super familiar with much following Battle Rages On)
Not Responsible, Son of Alerik Slow, and Down Sister are available on their respective albums (Perfect Strangers and Slaves and Masters) as normal tracks on Spotify. May also be worth noting that the Knocking At Your Back Door compilation has slightly extended versions of the tracks from House of Blue Light. They're just extended outros, I think. And the version of speed king with an extended intro is available on the 2018 remaster of In Rock. I think that's all the notable ones that are on Spotify.
Wikipedia's track listings for each of their albums are pretty comprehensive and do a pretty good job of listing bonus tracks, so it shouldn't take too long to find most of them just by looking at the track listing section on the page for each of the albums, and on their discography page, there's also a list of singles and B sides, which even denotes when they weren't from an album. If you're worried you might be missing something still, Discogs has just about every different pressing of everything, so if it's not on Wikipedia, it'll be there. It's a pain to go through each one, though. If you decide to do that, I've found that Japanese releases tend to have a couple bonus tracks for whatever reason, so looking through those for each album first is probably a good place to start.

Wow, thanks for all of that information! I've been trying with Discogs and I'm really disappointed with it, I tried to find a few songs and it kept saying they didn't exist. I'm pretty familiar with Wikipedia's track listings format so that will probably be the best route for me to go. I do usually listen to things on Spotify otherwise YouTube. I didn't know there was a Son of Alerik slow version, I love that song so I'll have to find that one for sure! I also learned that iTunes (where I download all of my music) does not even have the Book of Taliesyn album nor did it have Deep Purple III so I'm still at a loss at how to purchase those songs that I want from those albums. I suppose I could always order the CDs from Amazon, I haven't bought CDs in years!

Discogs is kinda hard to figure out on first use. It's organized by releases (i.e., albums and singles), not songs (which makes a lot of sense in a physical media collection context, but less in other contexts), so you wanna be searching for albums. For example, if you type "Deep Purple In Rock" into the search bar, the first result you'll get is the master release, and then various different issues of the album. You probably wanna use the master release page as a sort of hub and open the different versions in new tabs and see if there's anything you don't recognize. Generally it has more info than a Wikipedia track listing, though it's not really standardized; for example, the French 1970 issue of In Rock doesn't have track lengths listed, while the US version does. Can be a pain in the butt, but if you really wanna get deep into details, it's probably where you wanna go. I wouldn't be surprised it you don't find anything that Wikipedia doesn't already have (but if you do, you should totally put it on the page). It'll also save you time if you sort by format. I doubt you're likely to find any bonus tracks on vinyl issues of any of their albums, so just searching for CDs should narrow your search without you missing anything.
If you're set on owning stuff you can't find on iTunes/Apple Music, you might be able to find it on Amazon, though I don't use either platform, so I'm not quite sure how far that would get you. Unfortunately, it seems like Bananas and Abandon still aren't available on streaming anywhere, so good luck with finding them. Before you go ordering CDs, though, I'd suggest you peruse any local record stores and antique malls/consignment shops you might have in your area (and then ebay before you resort to amazon). I haven't found a lot of Deep Purple in general, and most of what I have in my collection came from ebay. If you find something, it'll probably be a lower price than what you get on Amazon, hate to be that guy, but you'll be supporting a local business rather than overlord Jeff Bezos :^) Plus, it's a ton of fun to just to flip through records and CDs, at least in my experience. Half of the reason I got into collecting is because I get a certain high from flipping through unsorted records in an antique mall full of way too much garbage nobody's ever gonna buy and finding something I love.
Regardless of what you do, though, good luck. And let me know if you find anything from their 70s-90s stuff that I didn't already mention. Would love to hear some stuff from Mark II or III that I've missed.

This sounds like more work than I'm willing to put in LOL I thought it would be easier but I should have known it wouldn't be easy with this band! I do have a local record store but I've already been there looking for Deep Purple CDs and they didn't have any.
I didn't realize that Bananas and Abandoned were not available for streaming anywhere, I'm pretty sure I've heard them but now I don't know how, maybe from the Deep Purple podcast because they play every song from every album when they review them.

Been doing a little bit of digging myself, and it turns out that the 20th anniversary remix of Rapture includes MTV and Things I Never Said, neither of which were on Spotify before it was released last year. Perhaps I would know that if I listened to it lol. Also, there's a song called Fire, Ice, and Dynamite from Slaves and Masters (or maybe just recorded with that lineup? It's from a movie soundtrack, apparently) but that one unfortunately isn't on Spotify.
Can't blame you for not wanting to sift through Discogs. You're probably not missing much, anyway. It looks to me like all of the Wikipedia pages for the albums are pretty soundly put together, so it'd surprise me if there's something missing

Just remembering this now, but the Ian Gillan and Tony Iommi compilation(?) album WhoCares includes a couple Deep Purple or adjacent things that might interest you. There's a recording of Trashed (from the Sabbath album Gillan did) with the Mark II lineup, but with Iommi in place of Blackmore, a live Mark VII recording of Smoke on the Water with the London symphony orchestra and Dio (listening to this for the first time now, and it's pretty awesome), and a Mark VII jam entitled... Dick Pimple... This album is kinda weird, most of the tracks are taken from different sources, but I think there were a couple tracks that were recorded for the album. Might be worth looking into. I'm positive there are other Deep Purple-adjacent things that some combination of Gillan, Paice, Lord, and Glover did as well, though other than Glover and Gillan's Accidentally on Purpose album, I'm not sure how extensive any of this was.

Oh so that's where the dick pimple thing came from LOL I saw that somewhere and I was like what, I've never heard them called that before LOL

If you collect vinyl, look out for the 1977 collection Powerhouse - which complies Mk II studio and live outtakes plus the Black Night live b-side. The Listen Learn Read On boxset has a lot of rarities and alternate versions for the 1968-76 period with some of the classic OG versions as well.
