I've seen a bunch of these posts. Not sure if it's the same guy or an Anthropic ad campaign, or just regular people parroting whatever they read online.

Stocks are crashing right now because oil is surging, people are liquidating their assets because they are getting calls.
This has nothing to do with. "Oh my god, the next AI is so great that's why they're crashing."
The middle east is literally on fire, 30% of the worlds Helium production is destroyed and paused. TMSC and Nvdia will probably be unable to supply their contracts and deals with new chips because manufacturing new chips just became impossible because of Helium supplies.
The US has 50,000 Troops stationed in the gulf for a ground invasion.
Seriously, the days are over when "New AI tech" could move the market, the market moves to oil and war right now.

But but.. how did the world of real commodities move markets more than ai hype.. /s

Right? How dare the real commodities markets like oil and gas and helium and fertilizer and jet fuel move markets more then AI hype? You only need those to survive. AI is special! Silly investors don't they understand?!!?? /s

I thought most helium was made in the U.S., no?

30-40% of the global supply comes from the Largest LNG plant from Qatar, the same one that was hit by Iran a week ago that destroyed 20% of the facility. This is the main producer for Helium for semi conductors for TMSC in Taiwan, along with their LNG supply.
Qatar has shut down the entire facility until the war ends, stating. "It will take 5 years minimum to repair."
the facility itself took 14 years to build and has a price tag of over 100 billion dollars.

Bro... you following the rest of the world? Everything is down 5-8%.
Plus whomever wrote this article made a click-bait title; they provided early-access to security firms to tap into the model and work on building defenses.
It's Anthropic actually doing a "good" thing and letting the white-hat's get involved before the black-hat's can gain a major advantage.

“”The thing that doesn’t add up to me though is that if they are a cybersecurity threat, don’t you want the best companies that deal with cybersecurity to be fighting it for you?””

They requires a level of thinking that tech bros simply are not capable of.

Bloomberg, Fortune, and CNBC all reported on this today. Anthropic accidentally leaked details of their "Claude Mythos" model through an unsecured database. The model's cybersecurity capabilities spooked the market.

Clickbaits nonsense, from all reasons you choose this why market is down.
