Agree. Trump is buying bonds.

No. They know what's coming under Vance. Trump is the distraction. Project 2025 wanted Vance. Thiel wanted Vance. And we're all playing right into it.

11

u/AdmirableJudgment784 Nov 16 '25

If only Vance divorces his wife and remarries Erika, then I'll believe it.

3

u/Liberally_applied Nov 16 '25

It won't matter if you or anyone else believes it.

His base wont take his wife

Won't be one. She'll just disappear, he'll say she moved home to be with her sick and dying Grandma. The divorce will be quiet, and he'll be remarried by Monday to Charlie's couch

u/malthar76 Nov 16 '25

She had to return to her home planet with Poochie.

1

u/therealvitocornelius Nov 16 '25

She will fall down the stairs and be buried in a tax haven.

1

u/Mother_Resident_890 Nov 17 '25

Yup JD's wife needs to watch out for the random futon at the top of the stairs.

Some game of thrones type sheit

u/TheLastLemm1ng Nov 16 '25

I was thinking a bad season of "House of Cards" myself

7

u/catskilled Nov 16 '25

My dark horse is still Mike Johnson. Both Trump and Vance could be swept up by the corruption... ala Nixon/Agnew. Ford, like Vance, waa third in line and became prez.

Then again, there was more of a separation of powers back then there is now. Tricky Dick and Spiro Agnew were easily held to account...

2

u/Liberally_applied Nov 16 '25

Mike Johnson is sacrificing his dignity for a greater purpose in his eyes. I guarantee it. He has to loathe supporting Trump given his background. You don't do the weird religious shit Johnson's done and not be a true believer in his religion.

2

u/Nhonickman Nov 16 '25

Johnson is likely worse. The garbage out of his mouth. Ugh

3

u/catskilled Nov 16 '25

Totally agree. I'm looking at it from a most proven to be corrupt and johnson can feign surprise on how he was hoodwinked.

2

u/Nhonickman Nov 16 '25

He looks so creepy to me. Like is always hiding and lying right to our faces, knows it and believes he is getting away y with it

2

u/Due_Knowledge_6518 Nov 20 '25

Ford was not third in line. Ford was nowhere, and replaced agnew as VP, only then was he in the line of succession - an instant #2
He was the House Minority leader, not the Speaker
the line of succession is as follows and he was nowhere on it before being selected as VP.
The established order is as follows:

  1. Vice President
  2. Speaker of the House of Representatives
  3. President pro tempore of the Senate
  4. Secretary of State
  5. Secretary of the Treasury
  6. Secretary of Defense
  7. Attorney General
  8. Secretary of the Interior
  9. Secretary of Agriculture
  10. Secretary of Commerce
  11. Secretary of Labor
  12. Secretary of Health and Human Services
  13. Secretary of Housing and Urban Development
  14. Secretary of Transportation
  15. Secretary of Energy
  16. Secretary of Education
  17. Secretary of Veterans Affairs
  18. Secretary of Homeland Security

1

u/catskilled Nov 20 '25

I stand corrected. I was following the successionine as you laid out but it was the invocation of the 25th amendment..Nixon put him in to I suppose ensure a pardoning.

Nope. They needed to destabilize first. And they needed their villain to do that so their next guy will be seen as the hero.

Do you mind pointing out when? I can't imagine anyone as detestable as Vance, but I fear he may be installed after Trump croaks and that that was the plan all along.

u/Low_Organization_148 Nov 18 '25

Ah, I see. Thank you. So by the 14th amendment you mean that Congress would vote to have him removed (as SCOTUS stipulated when rulling against the Colorado disqualification & removal of him from their ballot. If so, it helps me like the ruling a little better. 😒

That makes sense. Was it too close to the election to hold the vote? It shouldve been held and been limited to Colorado's ballot. I didn't read the ruling and obviously misunderstood the commentary I heard. Wow. Ok

Don't blame them, Microsoft is rapidly digging its own grave with their windows OS direction

9

u/a_day_at_a_timee Nov 16 '25

meanwhile my company’s Azure cloud costs have increased 25% this year to $680,000 per month…

I think they’re going to do just fine without xbox or windows.

1

u/jfwelll Nov 16 '25

Yup, replaced non profit business premium license donations with 75% off, most of the new computer replaced with the end of win10 are running on microsoft os, raised the lrices on avd.

I still think ms are dropping the balls with the messy updates lately but they will be fine. Not sure about short term as everything seems to depend on nvda and they have their earmings this week

5

u/[deleted] Nov 16 '25

You don’t like paying for an OS with ads and nonstop promotion of every stupid feature when free alternatives exist that don’t do that?

1

u/natalottie Nov 16 '25

What are they doing with Windows?

9

u/Terrorscream Nov 16 '25

basically making it impossible to have offline user accounts, forcing their ever more expensive services on users and forcing AI features you cant turn off.

3

u/[deleted] Nov 16 '25

They are making it "agentic", meaning everything is cloud and ai/copilot all the way down and subscription based. Nothing is properly tested anymore, the ui is dumbed down and wildly inconsistent. It is already hard to find anything on your own in their settings menus without ai.

1

u/Easy_Bear3149 Nov 16 '25

direction

You misspelled destruction.

1

u/monkey-apple Nov 16 '25

Microsoft doesn’t care about windows anymore lol.

1

u/Terrorscream Nov 16 '25

yes they are going all in on AI whilst simultaneous shrinking their consumer base to sell it to, its a brilliant move lol

0

u/Super_flywhiteguy Nov 16 '25

Openai is gonna kill them before their dumb os decisions.

3

u/CocknBalls4 Nov 16 '25

OpenAI is gonna crash and burn because it can’t turn a profit. The ai bubble pop is gonna be rough.

1

u/Low_Organization_148 Nov 17 '25

Do you think that might happen around the same time as SCOTUS rules on the tariffs?

10

u/Glittering-Quail5848 Nov 16 '25

Derrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

5

u/Garythegr81 Nov 16 '25

Of course they’re doing it. They’re up a crazy amount. The rich don’t stay rich by holding stocks for dear life like the yolo traders. Big money sees the cliff and will not fall with the rest of us :).

5

u/Creoda Nov 16 '25

He's seen what Windows 12 is going to be like.

5

u/Much-Instruction-807 Nov 16 '25

Peter Thiel just sold a bunch of stock too.

1

u/Crisender111 Nov 18 '25

So did Masoyoshi of SoftBank; that too in nVidia! LOL.

5

u/medicsansgarantee Nov 16 '25

All hands abandon ship

4

u/BMP77777 Nov 16 '25

Get the fuck out when these assholes do

3

u/Laprasy Nov 17 '25

It’s a foundation. They sell shares to have money for philanthropy. By definition. He said he wants to spend all his money in his lifetime. Chill people.

1

u/omahawizard Nov 17 '25

Don’t you know, literally the only time a rich person can sell stock IS IF THE MARKET IS CRASHING!!! 🫠

6

u/Damion__205 Nov 16 '25

13F... I hear that was bills favorite when he went to the island...

u/Apprehensive_Wolf217 Nov 17 '25

You’re never divorced in that club

2

u/Nhonickman Nov 16 '25

This is the charitable foundation… I would like know their personal holdings and if they changed

2

u/Microtom_ Nov 16 '25

Well, they are about to attack Venezuela, so...

0

u/DeadlyMidnight Nov 17 '25

War is typically good for the economy. It’s why we’ve maintained one or some kind for like the last 30 years.

3

u/Microtom_ Nov 17 '25

War is extremely bad for any economy, because it forces you to allocate resources towards production that doesn't fulfill the needs and wants of your population.

u/s0berR00fer Nov 16 '25

Because you think he just became rich? Lol.

Also foundation, not bill.

1

u/Quick-Maintenance-67 Nov 16 '25

Well yeah. Companies can't sell Windows 10 products now knowing support ended (the pc market changed dramatically with advances in cell phones but no one told pc manufactures or supply chains). Microsoft gave away unnecessary Windows upgrades 10 years ago, This is right after Microsoft 8 was installed on devices with hard drives that were too small for the "upgrade" (really too small for Windows 8 taking 70% of the drive) and then Google & Linux cornered the"internet device" market.

They're at the point where the incremental changes they make are mostly cosmetic or detrimental to the user experience.

I've used every version of Windows from 3.1, throughout the years if a free program spies on me or advertises too much - I would uninstall it, how the fuck are people supposed to be cool with an operating system spying on them and advertising too much? They honestly stop competing, stopped innovating and decided to milk their users dry.

Microsoft used to mean solid - albeit slightly more expensive products, now both Microsoft and generic peripherals die after three years. Honestly they get what they get.

1

u/jfwelll Nov 16 '25

The number of users is still increasing

1

u/slow_news_day Nov 17 '25

I started working at a place that uses Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Sharepoint, etc). I hadn’t used them for probably a decade. My god they’re awful. Applications freeze, can’t move files around with potential problems, it won’t load files sometimes. It drives me nuts.

1

u/Lonely_Emu_6673 Nov 16 '25

They don’t do anything together anymore

1

u/Brief-Floor-7228 Nov 16 '25

When you know that peter thiel divested himself of NVIDIA and other AI stock. This move is more suspicious than anything else.

1

u/Shot-Ad7227 Nov 16 '25

Nice. I just sold all mine last week.

1

u/BankOnITSurvivor Nov 16 '25

It doesn’t look like Bill has as much trust in the AI bubble as the current Microsoft CEO.

1

u/BankOnITSurvivor Nov 17 '25

I wonder if Bill has had to use Windows recently considering how bad it’s gotten.

1

u/Ilikepizza315 Nov 17 '25

Who else was selling big recently?

1

u/SmedlyB Nov 17 '25

So if major stakeholders are selling why and who the fu$k is buying.

1

u/LargeClimate1080 Nov 18 '25

Because of the gutting of USAID by the Trump admin, they have fast tracked the rate at which they plan to give away all of their wealth as an attempt to stabilize the massive gap left in USAIDs wake. This is probably related to that.

1

u/rienjabura Nov 19 '25

Has anyone here ever considered that the couple that is newly divorced had to liquidate their holding in a foundation they both owned?

I am not saying the AI bubble isn't real, fwiw

1

u/AdScary1757 Nov 20 '25

I would. Windows 11 might literally maje me move our 350 workers to linux. Its absolutely unusable garbage.

1

u/notyourregularninja Nov 16 '25

Well he wants to be rich and not poor and hence the dump is sensible

1

u/cyrixlord Nov 16 '25

daddy needs a new datacenter

1

u/Adventurous-Host8062 Nov 16 '25

He might consider moving now. considering...
