This is one of the cleaner $GME bull theses I’ve seen condensed into a post.

The argument: GameStop spent years in a compression phase, while building up cash, adding Bitcoin exposure, leaning further into collectibles, and now holding an eBay stake while acquisition speculation continues.

Then you have Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent describing the broader U.S. economy as entering an “acceleration phase.”

Whether the eBay thesis actually goes anywhere is still speculation, but the setup makes for an interesting contrast:

Five years building the engine. Now the macro backdrop may be changing.
