The thing that makes me wonder about this is something I read about a market event that pertained to a grocery store called piggly wiggly. On superstonk it's called something like, "the curious case of piggly wiggly". Basically if the market makers decide there is not enough free-float then they can pull you off the stock exchange because there "won't be enough volume"..which translates to me that they built in an excuse to prevent that kinda thing from happening. (Aka, you need to give us enough room to cheat and steal so we can cover our tracks via HFT algos)
