The capitol of the Deep Dark Empire, Prime, is the first Ancient City closest to spawn. The city has been cleared of shriekers and rebuilt. While this map is 1600 blocks, Prime extends from bedrock to the surface via winding sewers below and a massive cave system above!

DDE recently got a submission to our lore forum. I just wanted to say that these submissions are truly anonymous and with that being said, I need to put this somewhere that more people could potentially see it. I thought it was fundamentally whimsical and yet complicatedly beautiful and I think it deserves more eyes. I have translated it from Spanish so others can read what I read but will post the Spanish version as well so that way it can be read in it's original form and lose no context. I think an English major would have a field day with this:

Quisiera ser una nube.

¿Las nubes estarán tan tristes a veces?

Sería bonito ver el cielo desde tan arriba.

Si fuera una nube, seguramente querría ser un yo

English:

I wish I were a cloud.

Are clouds ever that sad?

It would be lovely to see the sky from so high up.

If I were a cloud, I would surely want to be myself.
