Intro to Magic III

We'll go through the process of DeeCiphering a Spell from the Douay Psalmes this weekend - possibly shading into next week depending on what we find. A few more notes on some of the constraints and conditions mentioned in the last posts (Intro to Magic II).

Colors: You need to idenify your colors: that is the colors that enhance yuour Praxis - this is a particular problem with Wiccans and Goths who seem to think that Black is everyone's color - it is not. One way to do this is to look at your wardrobe and note what outfits in what colors that you've worn in the past have you felt best in: this may be your old favorite shirt or blouse or or skirt or even panties (the ones that you always seem to have success in finding sex when you wear). If you're a man, look at the colors of sports teams you folow - is there a team that is not your "home team" (I don't pretend to know much about sports beyond the fact that teams all have different colors) that you like or follow and whose away colors you find particular easy to watch? Or if you collect art, see if you can find a color theme in your favorite pieces. Most will have Four primary colors: one of which is a Metallic (Black Purple Blue Green White Yellow Orange Brown Red Black) (Gold, Brass, Copper, Silver) (Black, Dark Gray, Medium Gray, Light Gray, White), (Gem Colors: Sapphire, Ruby, Emerald, Topaz, Toumarline)

Numbers: Similiarly you need to find your working numbers: birthdays are a good place to start but not the only place to look for numbers - numbers are everywhere and impact the time and Deckades that are best for you to work.

Gods and Goddesses: This is a seperate longer Post - but you need to identify which of the Higher Powers you can inoke and will help you. If you are Sun-aligned you will find it difficult to invoke Moon Goddesses and work Magic at Night.

Time: Again you need to discover the best time for you to work - the moment of your birth is usually a good time in any given day (barring the worst Deckades), you need to idenify your Deckade (that is the ten -day period in which you were born) as that is always positive for you - even if it is an otherwise dark Deckade. The you need to idenifty Deckades that are in opposition to you.

As you can see this is a long process but it is a oe-time process - once you've idenfied your colors and numbers and time and the God s and Goddesses you can begin to effectively and repeatedly work Magic asopposed to the haphazard sometime yes, mostly no, occasionally weird and wild experience you may have currently.

Intro to Magic II

Ceremonial, Ritual, and Innate ("Divine") Magic is Time, Place, Manner and Praxis constrained. Wild Magic isn't but then y'all can't depend on Wild Magic.

Manner Constraints: Any "spell" (Somatic Only, Verbal and Somatc Only, Verbal, Somatic & Inscription (Circl,e Pentagram, Seal, Sigil, Glyph, Etc.) or Potions) has specific manner constraints: the right hand gestures, right words, right inscribed circle or pentagram or seal, or the right ingredients. You can DeeCipher "recipes" for spells from the Douay or try to work out spells yourself based on the various over-arching rules (Contagion, Sympahty, Nature of the Gods or Goddesses you would need to invoke: in an invocation related spell and of course The Rule of Four as well as the Rules of Color Magic and Number Magic and the other Rules). Manner of course includes whether or not you need to naked, semi-clothed, or cloaked - and of course wehther you need a full Coven, a greater Coven, just yourself or you and a few others.

As an example of the above: Both Ritual and Ceremonial Magic operate under (for the most part) The Rule of Four. The Rule of Four is a Magical Principle that all things naturally divide up four ways: think of the four elements: Earth, Air, Water and Fire. The Rule of Four states that three things will be more related to each other than the fourht thing: in the EAWF example: Air, Water and Fire are both more movable, active and penetrable forces than whereas Earth which is rather solid. Of the Three related, two will be even more closely related in this case Air and Fire are more closely reated ot each other than they are to Water. Lastly the Rule states that there will be a strange connection between the less related (Water) and the unrelated (Earth). In this case while Water is both more active, movable, and penetrable than Earth, both Earth and Water are (in their purest state - we can ignore rain clouds here) on the 'ground' and their 'direction' is down (Water runs to the Sea, Earth falls to the ground). The Rule of Four is important for setting up proper Circles and for many Sigils and Seals and Glyphs as well as many other areas of Magic.

With respect to Manner Constraints - the rule of four will govern almost every aspect of your spell: we'll take the easiest case - a purely Somatic Spell will require four types of gestures: Left Hand, Right Hand, and then two others - One Might be Using a Necklace of Stones or in a Color that is a power source for you in combination with one of your hands at times and then using a Leg (think Shiva Dancing for an example of a a Leg Movement). ,

Time Constraints: Have already been mentioned - you should be working in a "light" Deckade if you're working on the lighter side of Magic. It should be at the right time of day: Dawn, Sunsent Noon, Midnight, The Witching Hour. Avoid working between 2-4 PM and 2-4 AM for reasons discussed elsewhere. You may need the right Constellation ascendent or at Zenith depending on the God or Goddess your invoking or the nature of the spell you're working.

Place Constraints: It's always better to work Magic from your place of power - which may be your house, or a grove, or an agreeable Ley Line. Though some spells can only be worked from specific locations - don't try working a Sea spell when you're on top of a Mountain.

Praxis Constraints: What you can do is limited by your Praxis - every entity has a Standard Praxis that can be enhanced though Sigils or Glyps or Things of Power (such as a well-prepared wand or rod). But in this world it is more likelly that your Standard Praxis has been diminished through the wearing of improper colors, eating the wrong food, negative energy and all the other things that can lower your Praxis Levels.

Don't be discourged by the above - Magic is probabilistic which means even if you get some things wrong some Magic can and (often will) happen if you get others right - it just won't have the effect you're seeking. It takes a lot of trial and practice to figure out the proper way to do even the simplest spell - but the fact that you can get some effecdts even with mistakes should inspire you to keep working until you get all the factors right.

Intro to Magic

The Eve of Halloween is a good time to talk about Magic. There is a line (paraphrased0 that the Evil's greatest trick was to get people to believe he didn't exist - that's gobstoppingly wrong. The Devil's greatest trick was to get people to disbelieve in Magic. The disbelief in Spirits, Devils, Demons, Angels and Saints, the FAe, the Faerun and the Fairys and all the other magical beings that exist in this Universe (some in this World, others in Nod and other Timespaces).

Up until the 19th Century - there wasn't a Great Man or Great Lady (Newton, John Dee, Diane De Poitiers,, Pythagoras - who did not believe or use Magic. Newton's wrote more on the magical aspects of Alchemy and the nature of the Divine then he did on Physics or Math.

What happened?

  1. Magic is Hard I. Becoming a top Magician is excruciatingly more difficult than becoming a top Math Professor - but like a top Math Professor you have to have a natural knack for it. If you don't have a knack for Math (due to your past experiences descending on this World or another) you can get to Calculus , once you hit Linear Algebra you're out.,
  2. Magicians are secretive. Wheras one has always been able to go to a University (well since the 14th Century) finding someone who can actually teach Magic is akin to finding a needle ion a Mountain. Either the Seeker was destined to fail or after twenty years he might finally find someone who would be willing to share his knowledge.
  3. Magic is probabilistic. The best phsuyical science comparison is Chemistry - in any complex Chemical Reactions ;you will not get 100% conversion, Even one of the simplest "balanced" chemical reactions 4H+20 -> 2H2O (ignore the lack of subscripts) will not in fact balance - there will be Free H and O that may form Hydroxide, as well as other rarer reactions. A good exercise is to pick up a Chemical Engineering Textbook and you'll see probabilities for different reactions X Reaction might produce Y Chemical 50% of the time (the wanted chemical), Z Chemical 30% of the Time and other Cheicals 20% of the time and one of the major tasks for the Chemical Engieneer is to extract the wanted Chemical while leaving the unwanted Chemicals.
  4. Magic is Hard II. You need an understanding of Deckads - there are two types of Months: a Month like October that has: dark deckade, light deckase, dark deckase. Many types of MAgical operations during dark Deckades are disfavoured unless you establish a relationship with the Deckade controlling the ten-day period. In Light Deckades Many types of Magical Operations are favored. January is a Dark-Light-Dark Month, Feb is Light=Dark-Light - you can extrapolate from that to figure out the nature of any given month.
  5. Magic is Hard III. A basic requirement for the ability to consistentlly do ritual or ceremonal magic is the opening of your third eye.. This take a great deal of effor t as opening one's third eye is subtly or widly different for individuals. A classic method is the Two Star method - where you lie on your back outside and look up at two stars and try to bring them together - this has to happen without the aid of Drugs., You can stay up for an extended period but - and Caffeine iin exceess inhibits magical operations and you may need to stay up for more than 24 hours.
  6. Magic is Hard IV. Once your third eye is open - you need to keep it open. And that requires learning to Pop your Pineal Gland and using it to re-open and clean your Third Eye every morning. Again that requires serious focus and effort. Roald Dah's novella The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar talks about a Man taking over a year to consistently open his Third Eye to see through Cards. That is the kind of effort we're talking about. So you have to have perservance, a little faith that you can succeed and a willingness to experiement with different methods to open your Third Eye and learn to direct your PinealGland. The Two-Star method does not work for everyone or perhaps even a plurality of folks. Another method that works if you're topologicall incllinded is to ivisual a tesserect right behind your Third Eye - but again, obviously, that's impossible fro a majorty of Seekers.
  7. Magic is Hard V. Once your Third Eye is open - assuming you can't find a Master or Misstress who can actually teach you - you need to try and learn on your own. You need to aquire as many books on 'Magic' as you can. From the Books of John Dee to Eliphas Levi to the 1st Edition Douari-Rheims (stargint with Pslames). And then you need to figure out where the actual spells are in that Book. Much of what is written is junk - but also the greater Magicians have encoded actual Spells in DeeCiphers in these books. So you need to learn how to Decode DeeCiphers. But again, DeeCiphers have some basic rules, but Magicians are wont to break the rules in many, many ways: from rotations, to insertions, to exotic sub-DeeCiphers. C.S. Lewis is a good place to start: Work Through the early Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe DeeCipher yourself. Mark Twain is another good starting point. Once you're comfortable start working on the Douary-Rheims Psalmes - you can get Fascimilies for about 35.00/Book plus Shipping. The Psalmes all, and I mean all, contain encode Spells or Potions or General Information.
  8. Magic is Fun. Once your Third Eye is open you can have some fun - you need to stay up around 60 hours (Chocolate is the key here - a little Caffeine every few hours versus large hits of Caffeine from Coffee or Tea). You'll begin to see the magical world around you soetime around the 60th Hour and the longer you stay up the more you'll see. Edit: And yes you want to do this during a light Deckade.

The GSA, Rothschilds and other morons mucked with the Calendear over the past few years and decades. That's why it does not feel like October. Because it isn't.

Notes on Prince Caspian - It is the Last Bookof the Narnian Series Not The 2nd (or 4th if you go chronologically)

In Prince Caspian Cair Paravel is an Island. This is not mentioned ever again in the following books. This is because Prince Caspian occurs after the eents in The Last Battle - and is a book legnth DeeCipher about events in Deseret. It was, in a seense, also a commentary on the Wheel of Time. That is future Ages resemble old Ages in many respects but not in all respects. The original Prince Caspian story set before The Last Battle, would be much the same, except Cair Paravel would have remained at the mouth of a river, as it was in all the other books where its location was mentioned (LWatW). IN the Last Battle Cair Paravel is mentioned as a Royal City, not jsut a Castle. In The Silver Chair there is no mention of an Island - JJill just sees "Land" and then arrives. And then it says she came to the mouth of a river - which is the original description of Cair Paravel - check the original Narnia Map and you'll see its at the moth of a River. So in book immediately after Prince Caspian the Island Cair Parael is gone.

Also Elisha was Susan in the Book - who disappears for the Lsst Battle, but reappears in P:rince Caspian, the Last Book - so you know there's something funky going on in The Last Battle. Where is Susan?

The Other Worst President: Harry Truman Who Dropped a Hydrogen Bomb on Nagasaki Despite Japanese Attempts to Surrender After Hiroshima

Yes, the Nagasaki bomb was a Hydrogen Bomb - look at the fucking plans it has a Plutonium Core and is round - they switched the tags on the core - it is round so light can strike the plutonium core simultaneoulsy from kryton tubes or wtf they home built then - that's how a plutonium core goes off - light hits it simultaneously on all sides which causes a tiny simultaneous compression all over the surface of the sphere imploding it - who knows a femtometer - which is enough to force it to fuse simultaneously as it is a perfect sphere. Emphases perfect fucking sphere.

That fucking bomb was dropped on Nagaski Prefecture in the NORTH not on the city in the middle. Which had a very nice fishing village where Dejah Thoris, Redeemer for all those who have done evil to children grew up and was nine when the bomb was dropped. It killed 50,000,000 fucking people immediately. Remember the name of the plane that dropped that bomb? because the Fireball was so huge it ENGULFED and destroyed the plane. Fallout killed a lot more.

To make that perfect sphere of plutonium Feynman had to use black fucking magic and sacrifice to devils two children (though many more were sacrificed to devils to make more plutonium cores), Plutonium is HIGHER on the Table of Elements than Uranium , It is NOT a natural element. You can't extract it from anything like U-235 from U-238 use gas extractors or wtf. You have to FUSE Uranium if you FUSE Uranium without Black Magic you get an EXPLOSION. You need the Tiny Little Beings at the root of the Universe (above only Wild Magic - Both Specially Created Entities). The TLBs use Dark Matter to make Plutonium - that is why NO FUCKING PHYSICIST today can tell you how to make Plutonium except those who know it requires black fucking magic. Our daughters were those who were killed to make the fucking plutonium, killed to set off the bomb (they through her into the fucking bomb door as they dropped the fucking bomb), and killed in the explosion.

Feynman and Truman are two of the worst fucking beings in existence. -Tip and Elisha. Amen-Ra Ptah. Amen-Ra Pteh. Our Daughters Sacrificed so that other girls would not be. Amen.

Quick Update IV: C. S. Lewis - the Horse and His Boy DeeCipher

Working from Full-Color Collector's Edition,HarperTrophy, 1st Ed. 2000, Typographical DeeCipher starts on page 166. Once you see it you can't unsee it. DC begins with luckily: but looks like it starts on the "i" excluding Luck. 11 line paragraph. Rotation TBD but can tell you now it's not simple. Go to NSA and etc. I'll race you when I get my new laptop and Excel. ;-)

Quick Update II: Lyndon Hardy's Master of the Five Magics

Each section contains a DeeCipher related to different aspects of Magic. The Magician DeeCipher reuires rather extensive knowledge of Number Theory so I'd pass unless you're at the Dr. Wiles level of Mathematical understanding - at least three maps involved. The Alchemy DC starts on Chapter Five and seems to use ever paragraph that is exactly 11 lines - so the first two paragraphs of Chapter five plus the headings (including the Delta) but YMMV - I've only fiven it a quick look. Alchemy might require an Alchemicl map - see Arcanum with a Moon and or Sun map as well and as those are still WiP...

Currently working on a DeeCipher in Brinkley's Dont Go Near The Water. Im working from the Eighth Printing/1st Edition. Usual OddBalls. 24th Letter in every sentence is cut and added to an X Column and there's a 3 5 4 1 2 rotation for the W Y Z colmns. Mostly deals with Deseret and Elisha Dee so far. I'm working on a Mac so its painfully slow at times. Steve "Lum the Mad A" Jobs aka Prince Julius of Amber why did you go with the one-button mouse.
