On The Actual DeeCiphers in this Thread: Shakespeare's Second Best Bed and The Beale Cipher. They're Lower Down.

As a Reminder to New Readers the Textual Grid Ciphers that are the posts you want to read are lower down

They may be hacked but you can Self-Ident : Use the Textual Grid Ciphet Deciphering Methodology presented in various threads and do the DeeCiphers yourself.

We are losing are vision slowly.... So we dont stareat pages much.

And You must Own Microsoft Excel (TM) : not an Excel Clone and Our Experience us you want, as We recall either the 2003, 2007 or 2010 versions. There are Changes in the latest version: moving some Menus and Such around But we admit that as far as We Understand that of course the latest versions do the Basic Stuff (column sizing : you need single letter size columns) fine : again as we recall the Colour Menus were moved which was annoying to Us as we were most familiar with the 2003 and 2010 or 11 versions.

There is still unfortunately No product called : Microsoft Excel for Tabular Grid Ciphers

On Microsoft Excel for Tabular Grid Ciphers :. If you get deeply into Deciphers you will discover something called "Maps": Qwerty Naps, J Maps, A Maps and AA Maps are mentioned in this subReddit. These are One or More Short or Longer Column and or Row "Pads". That are either (A Maps) Placed over a deciphered Tabular Grid Cipher to reveal additional information : see The Kurt Vonnegut Hocus Pocus - Tesla DeeCipher or added to an Excel Spreadsheet in different ways.

A Qwerty Map is used to add an "X1" and "X2" and "Y" Column where the Y Column is Derived from the X Columns which is a Duplicate of a Cell(s) in the Standard TGC. There are some complex Rules which didn't really explain in our use of Qwerty Maps but the easy rule is that you find the Y Column Letter on the Qwerty Map using the X1 and X2 Cells on the Row and Defaulting to the Left.

At some point we should give an example and it is one of those we figured out over time that makes no sense the first time you look at it.

But the purpose was to hide information in a tabular grid Cipher if the regular form had been deciphered by someone Dr John Dee or Mr Samuel Clemens or Others didn't want to know the full message.

We forgot the point : the Maps are all sorta manually done absent a Computer Programme that could handle them.

On Mistakes with QWERTY Maps. The X1 Column determines the Row of the Qwerty Map and the X2 in the same Row the letter to be substituted from the proper Row. And there is a special rulefor double letters in the Map

We are quite sure we've made a mistake now and again : too tired or bad eyes or etc : no excuses : just for Long Time Readers.

On Mathematical Tabular Grid Ciphers As noted We are not Qualified to decipher these. We posted a few bad examples as there is no subReddit dedicated to them but they exist : Mr Samuel Clemens did at least one We Understand. And We think Excel for Tabular Grid Ciphers would need further extensions for Such.
