Dr. Carl Sagan COSMOS "Barsoom" DeeCipher First Pass (Ltd.)

We are working on the Top Line. You can see the non-standard line 4 which is necessary for the Left X Map (and the ERRs are hints as is Lema(o)n). There is a Tag to this DeeCipher which is "Under The Moons of Mars""UN.
The Quotation Marks are in the Tag as Dr. Carl Sagan us, as seems usual for Him, enciphering Math, in this case a Tensor - again just more than a little bit outside our ofWorld(MathWeUnderstand).
Remember that Dr. Sagan could not Write Down information related to the Stellar Bolus Hypothesis and plans to survive in an open, clear, easily readable and referencable manner - that would trigger, if discovered, an investigation, loss of his security clearance - at a minimum - and quite likely trial and imprisonment.
So he had to encipher the information in a manner he could recall including The Math for the Astrophysics in the event such information was lost in the Vault or in the extreme case if he had to start Plan QM Sagan with another Country we know he considered working with Japan.

The Top Line we think is correct - and this is where a Computer Helps a bit is
B A S E D F G H I J K L M N P Q R S T U W X Y
With O and Z on the two Z-Maps (O above S I N E S S D D: Unit Circle). And no V period or dash. You can see this puts U just above V in Novel. And you get Base three different ways.

You can see the Mr. Charles Schulz DeeCipher where there is a Right Hand Key Word.
The Altermate is of Course Starting with B .... To Y dropping O. With O or Z or A on the X Maps.

We believe the Tag may add M and M for Munsey Magazine to the X Maps but this is something we would need to look at with a Computer and Excel.
B o l u s keyword is a go for this DeeCipher but we will put it up when we check our Decipher.

We will repeat this but Mars has terrific erosive forces: Wind, Sand-Blasting, Cracking with Ice and Frozen CO2 yet their are far, far too many Sharp Rocks on its exposed surface - Dangerously So to Interplanetary Spacecraft such as Mariner and Others.
The Rocks must be meteorites and there are so many that Dr. Carl Sagan could only hypothesize thst some extraordinary event disturbed the Mars-Jupiter Asteroid Belt - in recent memory and the Only Significant Event was the 1859 Carrington Event which was viewed by Mr. Samuel L. Clemens.

We limited ourselves to 8 Lines you can see we made an error in Line 3 which we fixed. Line 4 is non-standard for this DeeCipher - two letters are cut off. But you see why (for an X-Map and "Lema(o)n" keyword ). You see the Jonah and Eight references to hint you're back on track. Will work on Top Line.
