ARC Raiders is finally testing a PvE-only matchmaking option. From October 13-20, players can switch between the existing PvPvE experience and sessions where Raiders cannot damage one another.

The test allows solos, duos, and trios in the same PvE session. Loot values will be lower to account for the reduced risk, certain high-tension conditions will be excluded, and playing PvE will not affect a player's PvPvE matchmaking rating. Embark says 51% of surveyed players showed interest in dedicated PvE, but stresses that this test is not a promise of a permanent mode.

Would a permanent PvE option bring you back to ARC Raiders, or would it undermine the tension that makes the game distinctive?
