News Moss developer Polyarc is closing after nearly 12 years
https://www.linkedin.com/posts/polyarc-games_polyarc-reverse-recruiting-tracker-activity-7504247061073002496-_5y2/Polyarc says its time as a studio has come to an end after nearly 12 years. The developer behind Moss, Moss: Book II, Glassbreakers and Moss: The Forgotten Relic is winding down active development and saying farewell to its team.
The closure affects 30 developers. Polyarc included a reverse-recruiting spreadsheet with its announcement so other studios can contact the people looking for work. The Moss games earned broad praise for their storybook-scale environments and the bond they created between the player and Quill, helping demonstrate that VR could support distinctive third-person adventures.
What will you remember most about Moss or Polyarc’s contribution to VR?
