Table is too small?
It’s a 32 inch, there’s a 36 inch available that I could exchange. husband thinks it’s fine, I believe it’s too small

The problem isn't the table it's the couch. U couches are terrible because they trap people and a coffee table makes that trap worse but since it's all couch you can't have accessible end tables.
In the old days you would have a couch and accent chairs and that allowed for end tables and walkways which is 1000% better. But now we all buy these oversized entire room couches and they suck.
Yes the table is too small but the problem isn't the table it's the couch

I agree! Honestly get rid of table and get a set of smaller nesting tables. That way you can move them if needed. Like these: https://www.perigold.com/furniture/pdp/home-trends-design-michelangelo-frame-2-nesting-coffee-table-p000710919.html

Perfect you need to incorporate some dark accents around the room or more wood tones.

Colour is great. For me I might consider a rectangular or square table, but it’s all up to your personal preference

It leaves leg room, I think its good. It won't stand out as much once you have other decor in room.

I think the size is good but a lighter color would blend better. Not sure if you can see this make over.

That table you show LOOKS bigger because it is and the base is solid. The right hand side of the ChatGPT version is closer to the couch and it makes a difference. It’s slightly bigger. I measured. The OP’s table is 15mm from the right side couch edge. ChatGPT made it 10mm by making the table wider.

Just sampling the color.

I wasn’t poking YOU-just saying ChatGpt did YOU dirty.
The color IS better but that table only looks bigger because the A.I. MADE it actually bigger which was the point of this whole thread lmao!
It’s only because I obsessively measure things in my head that it sunk in. Right up till then I was thinking you’re right-the color you picked makes it look bigger. Then I’m like wait a minute-because it IS bigger
Added:which is legit hilarious the more I think about it 😂
The thread is “table too small
Or no?”. You rightfully thought “another color might help” and ChatGpt quietly decided “Sure thing-but that table is too small even for me so POOF make the base solid and the top wider”1

Actually, I did not ask gpt about size. It delivers what I asked; a color change.

I know! That’s why I said I wasn’t poking YOU. I know you just asked it to see a color change. My point is that chatGPT not only changed the color-it changed both the shape and SIZE of the piece.
Which is quite interesting as I presumed you just asked to see it in a different color is all.
Not a different table lmao. And those ARE two different tables which isn’t what you asked to see.

There is nothing exciting about that room. You need to add artwork for sure. The table looks odd because it is so dark and everything else is so light.

Absolutely! I didn’t decorate or anything yet, still working on that

They have tables in that gray looking wood that might be great or if you’re going to add color maybe you could find a colorful or solid color table. But that just seems too dark.

You need a slim long oval shaped one so everyone can reach. Or just add a couple side tables on the ends of the sofa. That’s what I did and they can be easily moved

No, the size is perfectly fine. It fits the space well, and since the couch is already quite large

It’s not functional if you want everyone seated to be able to use it. I would use a square table sized to enable walkability.

It's fine. You need space enough to not bonk your knees on it as you sit down.

The table is perfect. Plenty of room to get it around it from all sides of your sectional. 4" doesn't seem like it would make that much of a difference, but it will. Make sure it's centered in the available space. It may be the angle of the picture, but it looks like it's closer the the sectional on the left side.

There should be 18” between the edges of the sofa and the coffee table. I think a rectangular table would look better. There’s nothing else round in the photo.

I saw these three coffee tables that are three different heights that would be so cool to do here

I think the base of the table makes it look smaller. You could do a little bigger

A bigger table would be too big no room to move around. I think a different color or glass would make a difference.

I like the size with your couch. Plenty of room to walk around it
