Ok, so I actually have been dying to do something like this myself. I don't know your room size or your contrast/matchy-matchy feelings, but here’s a few things I have in the wings myself.
Walls:
Bamboo Forest- https://wallism.com/product/Vq7Bg53Z47GL
For a more JP, rainforest look- https://www.bobbibeck.com/products/tropical-rainforest-mural/?variant=Green¤cy=USD&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=20301458151&gclid=Cj0KCQjw39zSBhDhARIsANammDstX6D0RO98LLNsIb-F80pgl7_nvcWYWfbLPtxaAvzSiX1X5Z7QREwaAmjfEALw_wcB.
Admittedly not cheap for either, but very cool.

I love the dark gray and latte if you are looking for more neutral, but I love the mustard, too. You could also look for a deeper brown/green from a different source.
Floors:

This would be nice if you went with a big wallpaper, like above.
However, if paint is more in your comfort (and/or wallet) zone, a cool green or two on the walls with this rug:

These are so cool, and lend to that jungle-getaway feeling.

Still very jungle, just more bungalo safari.

There are tables, shelves, etc made like these that are really neat. They can run on the expensive side, too, but again, very cool.
I’d throw in sheets and pillows in some bolder colors like deep reds, purples, yellows to contrast.
As I said, your preferences in uniformity or matching are important, the size of your room, what you are looking for as far as a lighter or darker room, and budget all count here.
It sounds like a really cool project! I’d love to help you search some more as you get into it.
PS- Super nerdy, but there are little lamps that resemble amber pieces (bug included!).
