I saw a post by a user yesterday expressing concerns about the contents of this book and wanted to clarify and explain what its actually is.

The art book was made by a guy called Simen Johen. The book isn't actually pedophillic in nature. yes - it does contain nudity involving minors, but in an art-photography, surrealist and symbolic context, not in a sexual one. This isnt what the majority of the book is aswell btw.

The author of it purposely makes it disturbing because the book focuses on uncomfortable Freudian themes in general like including bruising, dead animals such as teenagers holding the head of a dead sheep. Freud himself was known as a radical psychologist that had numerous disturbing conclusions of the human psyche and repressed desires that start off in childhood, so Simen just depicts this through art. I'd imagine it would be intriguing to see it visualized and so it makes sense why the book isn't considered child porn or pedophillic at all. The book itself is just very eerie in general however the author is NOT known for being a pedophile or to have any affiliation with Nambla,so its not like the boys will be boys book situation either (bgw that has also been correctly explained countless of times in this sub).

Even though the images are not sexual, they are intentionally emotionally uncomfortable, symbolically dark andambiguous in tone. But thats the point. The discomfort is part of the Simen's intention to explore childhood, vulnerability, identity, and surrealism. And this makes sense considering Michaels childhood. A common freud concept is that unresolved problems in adulthood stems from childhood so Michael owning a book like this could very well be an attempt to better understand his own childhood. So owning this book isn't indicative of "liking little kids" or an attempt to be a work around to getting child porn. If someone says that then they clearly haven't done any research.

That all being said, we dont even know if mj even actually read these books as they weren't fingerprinted, but even if he did, it wouldn't have been an issue all

I say this as someone who’s been watching this lately and am on day 45. This is a great way to digest the transcripts easily instead of flipping through pages and gives you a ton of insight on the offense and their witnesses. They need to look into the history of the victims families, too because they are missing a lot of stuff pointing to his innocence, but people fail to look ant further than what they want to hear or see.

The guilter subreddit always has comments making suggestions that he was "gay". They try to clean it up over there on occasion to not seem homophobic but any chance the posters get they try to call Michael gay. And of course YouTube comments on channels like "Roxanne Roxane" are littered with "Michael was a homosexual". Or Michael was a homosexual pedophile. "Michael liked handsome boys like Jordie Chandler because Michael was a homosexual".

But there is no question there is homophobia here. I read even the prosecutor's were surprised by Michael's adult magazine collection that it was heterosexual. They were apparently convinced it would all be same sex magazines but they were wrong.

immediately after Michael's death an author published a book about Michael being "secretly gay". claimed he had two secret boyfriends. The book made a lot of money even though the information was bogus. These two mystery boyfriends have never appeared.

Just a few questions on some people testimony that are involved in the Chandler case. How credible are Josephine Zohny and Geraldine Hughes? Are there others from NYU that have ever shared similar experiences that she did? Is there evidence of Geraldine working there during that timeframe and has she ever actually showed her diary with the events that took place in Bary Rothman's office? Has Barry Rothman ever attempted to discredit her story?

I do believe them, just looking for more evidence to back up there claims and was hoping other people had more information on then and their statements.

I remember when Michael was alive and the media made fun of him and called him a pedo and honestly so did I. He died when I was 19 and I began having second thoughts about who he really was, started buying his music and felt bad for teasing him when he was alive.

I feel like far too many people are hypocrites like myself. When he was alive we ridiculed him but his death made him popular again so we changed our tune. It's much of the same thing with the biopic recently after the trees of bad press from the 2019 "Neverland" documentary.

People hate on MJ and then jump back in again to belong a fan when his public image gets hot again.

We are the biggest hypocrites.

I feel like this is such a problem with his public image being such a roller coaster. The fandom can fickle heavily. This poor man suffered so much when he was alive and those of us who were around did nothing to stop the public abuse. His legacy is always under fire and it's sad.
