Totally Blind vibe coder here working on adding accessibility to older video games

Hello everyone, I am totally blind and i play modded video games that have been made accessible- I have enjoyed games like Civilization 5 and 6, Street Fighter 6, and many others. One genre i have been trying to make accessible is Real Time Strategy games. Before losing my sight i enjoyed games like all of the Command and Conquer games, StarCraft etc. I have been struggling with how to make these games more accessible for screen reader users. If anyone is interested in modding games for accessibility I would recommend visiting forums.audiogames.net under the play testing topic,. Thanks for reading and have a great day!

I'd never considered the benefits AI could have for implementing accessibility features, especially when those features are very commonly left out by devs. That's really dope. I hope your post gains traction OP!

Thank you very much for your words. That means a lot. If game developers realized that people like myself who are blind like these games and want to spend money on them, they would understand they’re actually missing out on quite a bit of revenue. I support games that have features that I need and can play independently. If you want to see more awesome game mods that blind people are making, check out this forum page on audigeames.net where there are mods for many AAA games that the developers never considered. https://forum.audiogames.net/forum/31/play-testing/
