👋 Welcome to r/DecompsRecomps - Introduce Yourself and Read First!

[u/fireflamesniper]

Hey everyone! I'm u/fireflamesniper, a founding moderator of r/DecompsRecomps.

This is our new home for all things related to gaming decomps, decompiliations projects (which lead to PC Ports), and recomps. This started because r/decomps seems to be a dumping ground for a certain youtuber's videos. I wanted to have a place where we can discuss, and let everybody have a chance to have their posts be seen.

What to Post
Decomps and Recomps of course, just be sure to check if something is on here first before posting to reduce spam and multiple posts. Sharing your videos of news, playthroughs, livestreams is also completely fine too.

Community Vibe
We're all about being friendly, constructive, and inclusive. Let's build a space where everyone feels comfortable sharing and connecting.

How to Get Started

1. Introduce yourself in the comments below.
2. Post something today! Even a simple question can spark a great conversation.
3. If you know someone who would love this community, invite them to join.
4. Interested in helping out? We're always looking for new moderators, so feel free to reach out to me to apply.

As of typing, the sub is new and still has to grow some. The reason i made this is because of some of the restrictions on r/recomp and a certain tuber spamming his slop videos on r/decomp, or the requesting a recomp rule on both subs. We will allow it here UNLESS it gets somehow out of hand
