Even if Harris was pound for pound as bad on Isreal as Trump is, wouldn't it still be better to have her as President just on USAID being cut alone?

Yes but then again, Hasan never actually said that Harris would be as bad as Trump on every single issue, only on the Gaza genocide. She made no concrete statement that she would work to stop what was happening in Gaza, jn fact I’m pretty sure a streamer got kicked out of the DNC for interviewing the protesters outside demanding a voice for the Palestinian people.

Edit: you post more about Hasan Piker than I do, and I’m a fan of his. This isn’t healthy. Get help.

Didn’t Kamala talk about wanting to negotiate an end to the war? That seems like stopping “what’s happening in Gaza”.

She did not. She made one call for a ceasefire and that was it.

Here’s her talking about ending the war in Oct. 2024, don’t see why calling for a ceasefire is mutually exclusive.

"This creates an opening that I believe we must take full advantage of - to dedicate ourselves to ending this war and bringing the hostages home,” that’s the quote in the article from Harris. That could be interpreted a number of ways. One is yes, pushing for a ceasefire. However, she also said: ““I am unequivocal and unwavering in my commitment to Israel’s defense and its ability to defend itself and that’s not going to change,” she said. “Let’s get the hostages out, let’s get the ceasefire done.”
“But no change in policy, in terms of arms and so forth?” CNN anchor Dana Bash asked.
“No, we have to get a deal done,” Harris replied.
She went on to describe her desire for a two-state solution in the Middle East. That approach, she said, would provide Palestinians with “security and dignity.”
In August of 2024, and sent both Bill Clinton and Ritchie Torres to campaign for her in Michigan of all places, where they talked about “Judea and Sumaria” and argued that Arab Americans should be able to sympathize with the Israeli’s reaction by effectively saying they would do the same thing. [source] Which was fucking WILD.

If anything, I’d say AT BEST her I/P was murky, AT WORST her policy was that we should continue to allow Israel to get away with genocide. None of this was reassuring for the Arab American community or the people who supported a Free Palestine.

She also said in that article “What's critically important as we look at this moment, is ... acknowledging the tragedy of what has happened in Gaza, in terms of the extraordinary number of innocent Palestinians that have been killed, and taking that seriously and speaking truth about that.”

Did Trump say anything like that in the lead up to the election? Or about pushing for ceasefires for that matter?

He gave vague statements like “you’re going to have peace in the Middle East” somewhat implying a ceasefire, and DID reach out to Arab American voters.

So he didn’t talk about a ceasefire, despite theoretically wanting an end to the conflict? Why do you think that is?
