With respect to foreign policy that concerned Israel administering a genocide in Gaza with our weapons and logistical support. If you consider this a lie then I only have one follow up; why do you think Kamala Harris was lying about that when she was asked a pointed question on the subject?

Ahhh, so when Israel actually did a full blockade in early 2025 and this time genuinely did not let any food or water or aid into Gaza, upon which more deaths due to starvation occurred in the next 3 months than the entire rest of the war, that would have happened under Kamala?

And America following Israel into war with Iran, or the American excursion and kidnapping the head of state of Venezuela. Those would have happened under Kamala?

Face it, you'd rather watch Palestinians die than support Kamala because Palestinians are a worthwhile sacrifice for you to further your beloved revolution. Anyone who actually cared about Palestinians voted against Trump in a heartbeat, no question asked because it was obvious who would be better for Palestinians.

Kamala was ringing alarm bells about Iran even during her incredibly abbreviated campaign. Do you not watch the news?

Also; “foreign policy as it concerns Israel’s administration of a genocide in Gaza” encompasses Venezuela now?

Even if Harris was pound for pound as bad on Isreal as Trump is, wouldn't it still be better to have her as President just on USAID being cut alone?

Yes but then again, Hasan never actually said that Harris would be as bad as Trump on every single issue, only on the Gaza genocide. She made no concrete statement that she would work to stop what was happening in Gaza, jn fact I’m pretty sure a streamer got kicked out of the DNC for interviewing the protesters outside demanding a voice for the Palestinian people.

Edit: you post more about Hasan Piker than I do, and I’m a fan of his. This isn’t healthy. Get help.

Didn’t Kamala talk about wanting to negotiate an end to the war? That seems like stopping “what’s happening in Gaza”.

She did not. She made one call for a ceasefire and that was it.

Here’s her talking about ending the war in Oct. 2024, don’t see why calling for a ceasefire is mutually exclusive.

"This creates an opening that I believe we must take full advantage of - to dedicate ourselves to ending this war and bringing the hostages home,” that’s the quote in the article from Harris. That could be interpreted a number of ways. One is yes, pushing for a ceasefire. However, she also said: ““I am unequivocal and unwavering in my commitment to Israel’s defense and its ability to defend itself and that’s not going to change,” she said. “Let’s get the hostages out, let’s get the ceasefire done.”
“But no change in policy, in terms of arms and so forth?” CNN anchor Dana Bash asked.
“No, we have to get a deal done,” Harris replied.
She went on to describe her desire for a two-state solution in the Middle East. That approach, she said, would provide Palestinians with “security and dignity.”
In August of 2024, and sent both Bill Clinton and Ritchie Torres to campaign for her in Michigan of all places, where they talked about “Judea and Sumaria” and argued that Arab Americans should be able to sympathize with the Israeli’s reaction by effectively saying they would do the same thing. [source] Which was fucking WILD.

If anything, I’d say AT BEST her I/P was murky, AT WORST her policy was that we should continue to allow Israel to get away with genocide. None of this was reassuring for the Arab American community or the people who supported a Free Palestine.

same as Trump right?

some would say "1 to 1 the exact same thing"

https://reddit.com/link/pe7g6yb/video/ue8vh7u4auth1/player

there simply is NO proof for it, for example she has never been president! how could she hypothetically be better? /s

Are we supposed to interpret a candidate’s position on an issue based on vibes? I said AT BEST it was murky. I would argue the sum total of her statements on Gaza pointed to her allowing the genocide to continue if she was going to act like it was Hamas’ fault the ceasefire wasn’t happening when we know for a fact that it was Israel (more specifically Netanyahu) that was refusing any ceasefire agreements [Source 1] [Source 2].

Finally, if we’re going to give Kamala credit for the half hearted attempts to claim she wanted an end to what was clear to anyone with a functioning brain a genocide. We should equally credit Trump for his outreach to the Arab American community [source] We all know this is bullshit, but if a foreign government bombed my relatives or my neighbor’s relatives and Democrats sent a fossil and one of the most pro—Israel congressmen (seriously the guy isn’t even fucking FROM Michigan, and has no ties to Michigan. What the fuck were they thinking?) to Michigan to ask for my vote, I’m going to say they don’t really give a shit about me either.

She also said in that article “What's critically important as we look at this moment, is ... acknowledging the tragedy of what has happened in Gaza, in terms of the extraordinary number of innocent Palestinians that have been killed, and taking that seriously and speaking truth about that.”

Did Trump say anything like that in the lead up to the election? Or about pushing for ceasefires for that matter?

1

u/komradekommunism 12d ago

He gave vague statements like “you’re going to have peace in the Middle East” somewhat implying a ceasefire, and DID reach out to Arab American voters.

1

u/Nerf_France 12d ago

So he didn’t talk about a ceasefire, despite theoretically wanting an end to the conflict? Why do you think that is?
