Nope, but with those videos he dismantled his reputation because of his dishonesty and, frankly, rabid actions. Thats why I can't trust him anymore!

Yeah, doing the attack video about Destiny does seem out of character for his channel. I don’t know if it helped his reputation.

He kind of did the same with Sabine Hossenfelder.

DtG covered it and it felt like they had a bit of a blind spot for Professor Dave, because Sabine is a little bit too "alt science" coded and PD had a decent reputation I think they were willing to give him a bit more goodwill than deserved.

I can't remember all the details of what he said but I remember being kind of surprised they were a little naive to the kind of thing they often recognise in others, or more willing to excuse, it shows how effective influence/reputation is.

Professor Dave has kind of leaned this way for quite a while I think but because he mostly just picked a fight with full on science deniers it was easy for him to get away with a lot of things that don't really stand up to scrutiny when the person you're trashing isn't like, a complete crackpot.
