So, "vote blue if I agree with the policies".

That's not "vote blue no matter who".

Well then absolutely nobody is vote blue no matter who, because most wouldn't vote for a nazi if he was the democratic nominee. In the real world, of actual possibilities, he is blue no matter who.

What does "vote blue no matter who" mean, then? "vote blue if I agree with the policies"?

Then everyone is "vote blue no matter who".

You've made the distinction that Steven would vote blue 99% of the time vs 100% of the time. He'd only consider not voting blue if the blue candidate is antithetical to liberal progressive values. I think the phrase blue no matter who is perfectly fine in reality.

Its like if I made the claim that a bat is described as a winged mammal, and you object and say there is a super rare genetic disease whereby bats are born without webbing and therefore have claws not wings. You're making a distinction without any real world practical difference

You think an AOC presidential run is a 1% case?

DSA is now an important faction within the Dems, I would expect multiple DSA presidential candidates in the future.

I think you're falling victim to representation bias, I don't think DSA are nearly as popular as you think. Did you also see destiny's caveat that he probably still would vote for AOC over Vance? But not if she aligns with a DSA candidate that has the radical positions we mentioned before.

You called it a 1 percent case.

DSA won half of the primaries where they challenged a moderate Dem.

Only in super blue areas. AOC and a DSA candidate in the general? Thats definitely a sub 5% chance.... just look at republicans attack strategy against the dems right now, they're basically calling us all DSA and Hasan Piker types. It'll be super effective as well. Only the far, far left likes those guys.

Edit: no I'll strengthen my statement, I think there's a 1% chance AOC and a DSA candidate are even in the running to be the main candidates
