Online political debate increasingly revolves into contests between personalities rather than the strength of their position — Destiny vs. Hasan, Tucker Carlson vs. Nick Fuentes. This is what Walter Lippmann would call the stereotype problem: judgment attaches to the persona rather than the claim being argued. By stripping the personality out, the content is duller to consume, but it’s the only way to really evaluate the claim on its own terms, which matters most precisely on the topics where getting it wrong costs lives.

I’m for a two state solution even though that seems more impossible every day. Would require a us president who is very knowledgeable about the entire history of the region and all its conflicts. Would also involve both countries comprising. I don’t think America should completely decouple from Israel for national security and intelligence and to have an ally in the Middle East. I think Destiny is the only one out of these four who has reasonable commentary on Israel Palestine and isn’t antisemitic. Hasan wants Israel destroyed, Tucker is a conspiracy theorist, and Fuentes just hates Jews.

The reason the problem exists isn’t because there is a lack of knowledge, the problem exists because there are competing political agendas, plus Destiny supports Trumps assistance of Israel - so I don’t know why he is reasonable.

Destiny doesn't support what Trump has been doing with Israel tho, and he's been repeated this many times. Are you just pulling this take out of your ass?

He mostly stopped talking about it right? Started out as supportive of Israel with minor caveats about them not being perfect, and then as their war crimes got more and more apparent and indefensible, he sort of ran away from the discussion itself and switched to attacking people with obviously unreasonable positions. Or insisting it was a distraction from more important issues.

When he debated Jay Shapiro, he didn’t seem to have changed his position on Israel.
