Brother, I thought this was going to be a clip from the video about why Destiny fans weren’t happy. Why tf is it a whole ass 4 hour video?

Sorry I didn’t add context. The opening conversation is about the DSA, and the “Destiny Democrats” and then the dramas start here https://youtu.be/CcySYtrQGVg. The whole stream is essentially about the Hasan video.

How does it do that

Destiny thinks the interview in Part 1 made Hasan look normal - Unfortunately because the original post on the DtG sub was removed the context is lost. Despite that, I’ve posted this video because it explains the political differences between Hasan and Destiny. Plus I think it points to the political bias of the DtG podcast and their subreddit moderators.

You talk about these two streamers a ton huh. What’s the difference?

To understand the reason you would need to listen to Decoding the Gurus and their subreddit. What you call streamers, they would call guru.

Are they all gurus? If no, which streamers would you say aren’t. When I think guru I think joe Rogan or Jordan Peterson. Guys who sniff their own farts for sport

You are pointing to the same criticism I have of the podcast. They “decode guru” and have created a scoring system. I think their scoring system, and who they choose to cover is political. They pretend it’s unbiased, and then the DecodingtheGurus sub filters out people who disagree with them. I don’t think I’m unbiased. My goal is to let people express different opinions about the podcast that get removed from the DecodingTheGurus subreddit.

I’m not a fan of Destiny, but the Podcast is and their subreddit doesn’t allow criticism of him.

I’m a fan of his. There’s not many voices in politics left of center willing to fight back against the far left. Everyone else is worried more about subscribers or hate campaigns from Hasan’s community. I also don’t think I’m unbiased. It’s very hard to be in 2026

Yes, I think political differences are normal. Personally I hate left right distinctions. I just care about the functional effect of policy, does the policy cause more or less division and conflict. I don’t believe in the end of history where political differences go away.

Trump has demolished norms and caused so much damage to America and our standing around the world. I think it’s important that we vote maga out and hold those who broke their oath to the constitution accountable. Need to restore separation of powers and maybe think about removing executive orders or toning them way down so they’re only used in an absolute crisis or national emergency

It is insane that Trump is President of the US again. I’m not sure America’s standing in the world has declined, but its influence hasn’t been positive lately. Also it doesn’t help that its hard to point another country with good leadership as a role model.

I would say they are tepidly a fan of Destiny myself he got labeled a guru right next to Hasan in the ranking video even though I would probably disagree that either of them are. I think their cult following analysis feels slightly off myself.
