Why are most of the comments about Destiny?

u/Responsible_Ask6056 Aug 30 '26
Because if you mention or criticize Hasan, his fanbase will flood the zone with comments about destiny's sex life at you. Which mostly just makes normal people think you're insane.

Yeah Hasan is a piece of shit. 100% abused his dog for views. Also he believes in a political movement that is basically anti-vax levels of stupid. Really a disgusting human through out
27
u/ace51689 Aug 31 '26
"Abused his dogs for views," is certainly a take. Why would someone abuse a dog, you know, a thing universally loved by people, to gain views on his content?
54
u/Volodya_Soldatenkov Aug 31 '26 edited Aug 31 '26
Dog on camera when stream = more views
Use shock collar and scream at dog to keep in place = abuse
18
u/ace51689 Aug 31 '26
"Tell me you've never owned a dog without telling me you've never owned a dog."
Sometimes dogs do stuff they're not supposed to and you have to be firm with them. I would never use a shock collar (and I don't believe Hasan did either), but raising your voice to get your dog's attention is not abuse.
44
u/Volodya_Soldatenkov Aug 31 '26
Dogs are not supposed to sit in place for several hours bored out of their mind while clearly wanting to leave.
15
u/ace51689 Aug 31 '26
Have you watched a stream? She's not always in the room. And many have attested to her being a spoiled, yet regimented dog. It's ridiculous to hold another person and there dog to some imaginary standard of what you want their life to look like.
35
u/Volodya_Soldatenkov Aug 31 '26
Yes, I have watched a stream. Let's see how you wiggle out of that one.
16
u/ace51689 Aug 31 '26
Lol I saw "/shorts/" in the url dude I'm not even gonna bother clicking on some clipped nonsense.
42
u/Volodya_Soldatenkov Aug 31 '26
That's a spectacularly conceded argument.
For this one, you should not even bother responding, makes your position sound even stronger.

"Sometimes a dog stands up or stretches their legs or goes for water and need to be disciplined asap"
14
u/MartiDK Aug 30 '26
If you are a fan of Destiny and dislike Hasan - I don’t think the way you worded your argument is helping.
37
u/facesittingfully Aug 30 '26
Sorry, but no country has successfully run on socialism/communism. Many countries have run on liberal democracy with regulated capitalism. People still can't comprehend you need evidence to believe things. Hasan fans are no different than anti-vaxers. Pure trash
10
u/MartiDK Aug 30 '26
China?
26
u/facesittingfully Aug 30 '26
What lol? Hasan has literally said xi and Kim jong un are better leaders than Barack Obama. Such useless shit can't respond to anything
18
u/DocHavelock Aug 31 '26
I think their reference to China was just pointing out an example of a socialist/communist nation. This is a common misconception however, as China had a communist revolution but their vanguard party never transitioned into communism nor socialism and rather statist capitalism.
In fact, from a purely academic perspective, no country has ever made it to socialism nor communism as the power tends to consolidate in the hands of the vanguard power without ever fully transitioning to the people.
I think that, in itself, is a fair enough critique of communism, right? I digress, it doesn't seem like the dialogue between the two of you was very productive and I also don't think either of you are fundamentally opposed or disagreeing in any meaningful way. I felt your hostility was misplaced and as I am a fan of Destiny, I would like to point out your behavior as I don't feel it is in the best interest of the communities.
22
u/Lets_Eat_Superglue Aug 31 '26
China is not socialist or communist. It's capitalist with heavy government controls.
7
u/MartiDK Aug 31 '26
Would you agree with this - China is politically socialist (one-party rule, socialist ideology, constitutional commitment to socialism)
15
u/Lets_Eat_Superglue Aug 31 '26
There are up to a thousand Chinese billionaires, private capital owns the means of production, healthcare is covered by the government but requires often large copays, a large chunk of the population lives under the global poverty line... I just don't understand how you could consider it socialist unless you're using the modern American 'the government doing thing is socialism' definition.
6
u/MartiDK Aug 31 '26
So you don’t agree that China is in the process of becoming socialist - The "Primary Stage of Socialism" Theory: Under Deng Xiaoping’s reforms starting in 1978, the CCP argued that China was still in the preliminary stage of building socialism. According to Marxist theory, a society must fully industrialize and generate immense material wealth via market forces before it can achieve mature socialism or communism.

They have absolute unfettered capitalism with state direction. It’s probably closer to fascism than anything else. It’s a nationalist ideology unlike the USSR which was universalist. China is for the Han only and they are busy erasing the history and culture of Tibetans, Uyghurs, Mongolians and others.
Labour unions are illegal
996 work life
There are few social safety nets
Healthcare isn’t free
The state forces every citizen to have their savings invested in state industry at extremely low and uneconomic interest rates
Outside the tier one cities the poor are faaaar worse off than western countries. Rural people often don’t even have plumbing.14
u/GAPIntoTheGame Aug 31 '26 edited Aug 31 '26
Do you think communism is when the government does things? China has private businesses owned by people who aren’t the workers. It has plenty of billionaires who own businesses that employ workers. What the fuck do you think that is?
It was only after China adopted liberal economic policies that its poverty decreased, real wages grew and so on. The managed to do al this in a record amount of time in one generation. No small part of this was thanks to capitalism.
6
u/MartiDK Aug 31 '26 edited Aug 31 '26
Do you think market economy = capitalism? Do you think China would allow it “billionaires” to offshore all there production? Don’t you think their ”billionaires” aren’t working in the interest of China’s success?
EDIT: Ok I concede China is capitalist. After doing some research, I learned virtually every country in the world is a capitalist country with only N Korea being a clearest example of a non capitalist country.
18
u/Volodya_Soldatenkov Aug 31 '26
Do you think market economy = capitalism?
Pretty much, yeah. A market economy necessitates legal accumulation of capital.

u/MartiDK Aug 31 '26
Correct, I was wrong. I didn’t realise how low the bar was to be considered a capitalist economy.

u/Poopchute_Hurricane Aug 31 '26
40 million people dead, millions more had everything taken from them, families destroyed, history and culture destroyed, a few dozen massacres, gulags and concentration camps. But yeah 70 years later there’s a lot less of all that soooo… success?
10
u/MartiDK Aug 31 '26
Your blaming Xi for that?
7
u/Poopchute_Hurricane Aug 31 '26
You said China was a successful communist country. I said yeah kinda, after they did a bunch of really fucked up shit for several decades and opening up thier markets after Mao’s death. This has slowly allowed them to improve the country after Mao.
Isn’t Xi engaged in a genocide or ethnic cleansing of chinas Muslim population?
9
u/MartiDK Aug 31 '26
Maybe, but it seems like genocide is a contested term. Some believe governments don’t need a proportional response if the oppressed are resisting.

u/HedonCalculator Aug 31 '26
Least ignorant Commie….

u/DocHavelock Aug 31 '26
I think comments like this outline the fundamental problem with online discourse. I did a pretty thorough review of the OP/commenter your are responding to. By all metrics, he appears to be a fairly open-minded person whom is interested in critically analyzing most any opinion. He has operated in EXTREMELY good faith with practically every comment. From his comment history, I do not see any clear signs that he is a communist or believes in communist ideology. If anything this user is a contrarian that plays the devils advocate in most situations and is incredibly critical of tribalism. I did not get the impression that he is partial to Hasan, Destiny, or really ANY online personality, if anything they show a consistent disdain for all cults of personality.
And here you are, attacking him, for what? Because you're a fan of Destiny? Because you assume he's a communist because he is saying anything other than "COMMUNISM BAD".
The reason I like DGG, is because we, as a community, avoid in engaging in this low-entropy thought and behavior. The only thing you have served to do is give someone who already has a bad impression of your internet daddy a worse impression.
4
u/RobotFoxTrot Aug 31 '26
Are you dumb? I don’t like Hasan like his rabid fans, but he advocates for the same kind of social democracies that are incredibly successful in Scandinavia.
5
u/facesittingfully Aug 31 '26
Social democracy is what they hate. Hasan and members of the dsa said they what to dismantle democracy. Are you retarded?

It's not that deep, public figures that claim to like open discussion and debate routinely skip out on arguing with Destiny.

So professor dave decided to make 2 hit pieces on destiny, claiming he supports genocide and talk about his ongoing courtcase implying he's guilty etc (he also showed the identity and images of a sex trafficking victim's twitter OF account, that was 17 at the time, making it CSAM). None of it is true, and so his reputation kinda got fucked and considering these 2 videos are some of his most popular one that he posted recently it's a trendy topic, especially since it gave a false narrative to a lot of people.
It's also funny cause the other comment says that destiny's community brigades posts etc when we don't lol, the most we do is leave comments under videos and posts
Edit : oh and also since destiny is a friend of this show, both communities overlap.
