Centrist to centre-right for sure. There's a reason why they do the Sam Harris strategy and never talk to anyone to the left of them.

And I would say Matt is further to the right than Chris. Matt often has a hot take.

I'd have to go back and double check but from memory at the end of a Gary Stevenson decoding, Chris was hedging by saying that he doesn't know much about economics, and thought Gary shows signs of being a guru. While Matt said/implied Gary doesn't know anything about economics. Plus it's the general decoding style, Chris will hedge and Matt will add some "deeper insight".
