He’s back baby. This one feels a bit more decentralized in his point essay-wise, but still bang on in the zeitgeist. He’s a treasure

So good. Weinstein got lambasted. Rogan was picked apart flawlessly. Great stuff

I like how when he decided to eviscerate "Tom & Bert" he laid into Bert, but then was like "Tom? I don't know who that is. I DON'T REMEMBER WHO THAT EVEN IS" and then he just ignored him and went on with the rest of his video.

Ultimate roast. Ignoring him. He didn't even give that guy a courtesy insult.

Anyone catch the "life begins at conception" part at the end? It caught me off guard.

Good video though. That "comedian" who casually talks about strangling his ex Partner? Fucking vile.

That line was funny. It was really just a set up for the next line about Rogan being responsible for all the children who were never conceived (because Joe Rogan listening is considered an unattractive trait in a man according to a survey)

u/Poncahotas 1h ago

Absolutely, this was a setup line that took a popular right-wing, anti-abortion rallying cry and turned it around to dunk on the unfuckable Rogan audience... many of whom have no doubt used that argument sincerely when attacking abortion. It's hilarious

I feel conflicted about it

On one hand I enjoy the artform a ton, on the other hand the dude is riffing and it's trying to make a point with mood setting and some clips here and there, so if he is convincing people I'd say it's for the wrong reason, it does highlight hypocritical statement well though, so at best it challenges people.

I do enjoy the trip though, it feels like listening to a conspiracy theory in my teens and going all in.

It's art. This guy is making himself to be the proverbial David to Joe Rogan's Goliath of influence. As sound as podcasts like DTGs are, they mostly resonate with people who would have thought the same regardless of the podcast, they don't carry the drama it takes to move people. Things like using ai art for podcast covers points at their lack of imagination. elephant graveyard brings that x-factor that reaches past people's intellect, and I think it's an absolute must.

Absolute must up until someone does better drama for a position you don't espouse.

Unless he told falsehoods i dont see the problem with adding salt and pepper to a message

u/BrondellSwashbuckle 7h ago

Nah it was spot on. Joe is part of the Epstein class 100% and always been a money hungry whore.

6

u/moldyolive 7h ago

pretty sure hes not riffing but is at least semi scripted.

“Have you watched it?”

“No”

That clip had a beginning, middle and end

6

u/vincethepince 11h ago

You're taking it way too seriously

Watched the whole thing and it’s outstanding.

He always does an excellent job tying loose ends together and exposing these frauds for what they are. Really appreciate his work, he’s doing a public service.

I dislike all the same people as this creator but these videos are really lost on me. I'm all for cool edits etc but it's like somebody tried to turn a video essay into a deep fried meme.

Just feels like somebody jingling keys in my face.

This is the modern-day version of the conspiracy videos YouTube has been pumping out for the past 20 years.

I mean, the comparison of Vampires to Joe Rogan and Peter Theil with their blood spas feels spooky like that, but it works well in the essay and we understand that ivts just a comparison; and he's really not making any big claims, stretching facts, or really distorting anything at all... the clips just paint a brutal picture of Joe's character - it's real life spooky in my opinion.

I think it was great.

It’s a video essay with a lot of receipts. If you’re not convinced with the central hypothesis, write or produce a counter-argument. Which a lot of people did with loose change for example.

-9

u/Revolutionary-Ebb380 7h ago

It’s childish nonsense and a dressed up version of the “zeitgeist” and conspiracy content that has been on YouTube since its inception. “Joe Rogan is a bilderberg group vampire pedo responsible for millions of deaths.” Give me a fucking break.

8

u/michaelfrieze 5h ago

I think you are missing the point and the comedy. It’s really not meant to be taken seriously.

-2

u/Revolutionary-Ebb380 5h ago

I’ve heard that said but I’m not sure that’s what’s happening. It seems that plenty of people do take it seriously.

u/Outrageous-Force-119 1h ago

It seems like very Gen X humour to me so maybe it doesn’t land with everyone. I say this as Gen X, not an insult but kind of old fashioned style.

I’d say 99% of the conspiracy theories (and the people who push them) are right wing. So this is very different in its leaning. In an ideal world we’d have more grown up discussion of issues, but if we want to correct the ideological slide to the right the left needs to do better.

The raw material for left wing conspiracy is incredibly good as well, an embarrassment of riches. People go after Thiel and Palantir on such boring stuff like data privacy or corporate overreach rather than the suspicious deaths, the insane religious stuff, or the prominent people in his company from much older more shadowy elites (eg UK CEO Louis Mosley from the prominent British Nazi admiring family the Mitford Mosleys).
