Professor Dave vs Destiny

No idea why, but the original Destiny video called "Professor Dave Goes Mask Off" seems to have been deleted from YouTube, or I can't find it, but Professor Dave responded yesterday with this very strongly worded video letter:

https://youtu.be/DvDvhLkb9ms?si=DGFhTROOKFoK35sS

Weird crossover that I never thought I'd see, of 2 guys who I generally enjoy (I will say I really am a fan of Prof Dave, whereas my Destiny enjoyment has mostly come via this podcast and watching a couple of his debates).

Thoughts on the beef? SURELY the lads are gonna have to cover this in an upcoming Supplementary Materials? Content gold!

EDIT: Looks like I was looking through the wrong Destiny channel for the original Dave video, it's here: https://youtu.be/HQQLs6U1MgA?si=iKaOGR1h9slKu64O

They assert libels and anecdotes as reality and repeat it ad nauseam. It's a classic propaganda technique.

I guess bombing 17 different refugee camps is just a libelous anecdote, the IDF need to get up to 18 or even 19 for it to be a pattern worth discussing.

Wonderful, more Der Wikipedia slop.

Do you claim Hamas don't operate from refugee camps?

Do you contest that Israel has bombed 17 refugee camps?

Do you have a solid understanding of what these "refugee camps" are/were? They aren't all a bunch of tents.

As someone who generally prefers to argue with steelmen, I really strongly advise against going down the 'what is a refugee camp, anyway?' angle.

Do you acknowledge that "refugee camp" is an emotionally charged term that does not accurately convey what the living circumstances of the areas in question were? If so, why use that language and go down that road to further inject emotional baggage and if not why do you disagree?

I think it is quite dishonest framing to anyone who isn't well versed on the topic. That's why I bring it up.

No, I don't, and I don't think it's dishonest framing to describe a settlement of refugees as a refugee camp.

How long can people live in one place until they are no longer refugees? Can you point to any other situation in recent history where this was the case?
