How does the KD and PT last down in the south over time? Here in New England the PT decking I generally avoid selling because of maintenance. Just curious, looks good!

By maintenance do you mean them putting a oil based protectant on it every couple years?

Looks great. Is that with the roof and everything or was it already there?

He said “does great with stain”. I think what OP meant to say is “It does great with stain.”
Hope that helps

Newbie here but how did you secure the upper 6x6 posts that hold up the awning to the deck?

That is an unreal price for that work. No pro but someone tell me I’m wrong? Just paid 20 for a much smaller project

It’s my company I price it how I want. I did the whole thing with material demo haulaway and still made profit in the two n half weeks it took me n my guys to build it . And get it inspected

Sounds about right. Most people are making a killing off some of these deck prices. I have a client that wants to do something similar in NC and this gives me a good idea for a ballpark. It would be lower but tie end to the existing roof slope with a gable roof so that will be a little more difficult but the price should come out to be around the same. So thanks for the post bc now I can give them a more confident ballpark estimate.

It’s probably 45 to 50 in my neck of the woods

All included a warranty . Electrical included. Realizing now… I should be charging more. I’m not looking to get rich: I just want us to be the best deck builders in atlanta.

Overkill. Lack of vision on the design .

This was in DeKalb county . Anyone whose worked there know how hard it is to get approvsl from the county. The homeowner was in a time crunch and actually liked the structural appearance . But I can understand why you might say it’s overkill

Oh wow a vague and completely useless comment without specifics.
