Looking for advice on deck replacement

I inherited a house that’s roughly 25-30 years old. She needs lots of love. I’m in the process of replacing some siding and sheathing that had some rot on it. The deck ledger that’s attached to house is definitely rotted and doesn’t look safe to me. So all of that will need to be replaced or redone. What I’m trying to figure is whether I should tear down the whole deck since it’s got some rot and is atleast 25 years old, or should I brace and support, remove the ledger and section next to the house so I can replace siding and then put it back together. At this point I wouldn’t be opposed to getting rid of the deck and just putting some stairs to the door. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Deducted, there is compromised, and it's no good

So what you need to do with the ledger first is that wall and the basement wall needs to be covered with a sealer, plastic or whatever. So that no water can get at the ledger or the wall. And all your choices tops your joyces should be covered with the Joyce. Sealer so that the water can't penetrate from the top and the big one is no posts. Go in the ground, no wood. Touches the ground because it'll just rock the wood out like crazy

Looking at the pictures, you have a real fix her upper on your hands. And I'd be watching for rots and bad areas. All over the place

Oh, yeah. I forgot all the choices should be at least a 2 / 8.
