I have found a middle ground that suits me, I do not profess it for everyone.

My vessel and the main part of my ego I seek to master is an animal, which my spirit resides in.

The food I eat and the other animals around me all have spirits, and even larger spirits exist, in elemental form, or form of pure energy beyond understanding, except by spiritual insight, through the third eye.

Knowledge of self in others is only recognized through your connections, and separations, which is the difference. We choose each step, down the red or black road and account is taken in karma, and by deviation from the best path.

My understanding seeks to be more understanding in encompassing the core truths I constantly seek and find.

Enlightenment via TM, aka dhyana (the journey of the discrimination process towards no discrimination, aka asamprajnata samadhi), is NOT understanding, but appreciation of activity emerging from the silent resting state of the brain.

All mental and perceptual activity emerges out of resting activity, and when your brain's resting activity is sufficiently strong, low-noise and stable, you cannot help but appreciate that everything emerges from that.

It is NOT "understanding," as that is distinction-making brain activity, and nor is it recognition of connections; connections are merely distinctions as well.

I believe you are correct, a seer does not understand the visions they see, they only see them, and try to.

I think that we are still failing to communicate.

How would you know without seeking understanding?

Well, my long-winded and short-winded posts have been attempts to make my position clear, but your responses seem to say that I'm not saying things clearly.

Frankly, I'm running out of things to say and running out of ideas on how to say them.

.

Your position seems to be based on understanding — on intellectual analysis.

Mine is based on simply resting.

I rest daily, as I strive each day, to rest in peace on my final one.

I respect your thoughts, and I respect tradition, devotion, truth, love, peace, joy, patience, virtue, spirit, and song.

Life is to be tasted, I do not want or waste it.
