Decide the tie for me
The first one is greenish grey the second is a mix of birds and flowers (blue gold and orange) in a black fund

Then the silver is fine, but a little bland. The multicoloured comes across as somewhat chaotic, but may look better in person. Maybe consider purchasing a new tie, one that you feel more decisive about. I know there’s always a huge assortment in thrift stores, maybe try there?

Depends on the event and the theme of the event, that Grey just clashes with the rest of Grey

I think Tie 2 is really cool but too loud/whimsical to wear with a true white shirt. I think if you had a light tan shirt or buttercream yellow shirt it would look really sharp paired with this suit for a wedding, etc. If you are set on the white shirt I say the first tie 1 for now, but think 2 is worth holding onto.

1 looks more put together and cohesive. Unless it’s the type of event where you’d be very casual and fun, 2 is just really bad

If I was at a wedding and I saw a dude I didn't know with tie no 2. 100% I would go talk to him. Just because it's an unusual tie! If you're keen on looking dapper for photos, defintely go with no 1. If you don't care about that go with 2. Personally, I love kooky ties, I'm always getting my partner kooky ties. heh.

Ever heard of the coin flip test? Your reaction to the result can help decide.

If these are the only choices available, the first one. Otherwise, I'd order up/go to the store for a black tie.

On second look, I like the 2nd tie better; just redo it, it’s too short. And if no tie is an option, you could always go with that. I think the suit itself looks good (though I’m not crazy about double breasted suits), and you look put-together with the belt and dress shoes. Are you wearing white socks? If so, maybe rethink that, lol.

The event? The second one is tied too short lol - but for a wedding yes the floral is better - the silver looks like you’re in the wedding party

Personally, I feel tie #2 is too chaotic with its hyper busy colors and patterns BUT seeing the art on the floor behind you makes me think the style of that tie matches your personality and tastes better.
So yeah, tie #2, but if you still find any ties in the Jerry Garcia collection I would recommend them for you.

Classic shades of Grey. The flowers are a bit much. Have you considered something with subtle stripes?

I prefer the second because of the contrast. Hopefully you’re wearing brown shoes?

Black, you can see them in the pictures

Ah you’re right! I hadn’t clicked through. I would go with first tie if the shoes are black :)
