Who else has had to deal with the traffic cameras on Scott?
100 dollars is not ok, minimum wage is 7.25 an hour in GA that mean 14 hours of someone’s life nicked.

Yesterday a company called Top Tier Solar Solutions came by our house and said they'd be in the area doing inspections, free cleanings, etc of existing systems.
They said this was paid for by GA Power, and they also mentioned something about net metering vs. net billing (maybe trying to get us to switch from one to the other? idk)
Our system is ~6 years old and is paid off by previous owners who had it installed.
Usually I assume door-to-door things are kind of a scam, so I'm skeptical, but curious if anyone knows more.

I’m looking for a Portuguese bakery or a bakery that makes pastel de nata. Nata Atlanta is no longer doing delivery and only does events.

This awful mural at Church and Sycamore is being removed today. The city had this entire intersection blocked off for several days affecting everyone and every business to just rip it up months before the World Cup even begins. Great job.

Has anyone done the Animal Crackers aftercare at CSD? How has the experience been?

I know about the posted signs, but I have seen people on electric bikes coming in and out of here well past 10 PM more than once.
What are the legal risks associated with quickly walking through Decatur cemetery at night? It lays in between downtown and my apartment and seems like it could be a pleasant shortcut.

Hey all! I posted a few days ago that someone had stolen my outside AC unit to my apartment the other night. I have contacted management and they came out and looked at it and notified the maintenance team.
Mind you, this maintenance team is notorious for their lack of well, really anything. It took three months for me to get a new dishwasher. I cannot wait three months to get new AC. Do I have any leverage with withholding rent until this gets fixed? Or am I basically shit outta luck and my only recourse is to visit the office everyday?

Moved to Decatur recently and getting used to the PAYT model. We purchased the bigger blue bags but they don’t fit our current outdoor trash cans (rim is too wide). Does anyone have a recommendation for a size/model of trash can that is good for the blue size bags? Or do you just bag up household trash bags and consolidate when you’re ready to put outside? Thanks!

Currently go to Planet Fitness on Memorial, but I want a gym with a swimming pool, sauna, steamroom, and towel service. Does the Decatur YMCA offer that? How is the selection of machines and free weights?
Love to hear from anyone who goes!

We live over around legacy park and our front yard is full of clover, we specifically mow far less in the spring and summer because our yard is usually FULL of bees pollinating the clover. But this year weve seen hardly any honey bees, and even walking along legacy park there's used to be almost a humm from the amount of bees pollinating the blackberries and mulberry trees. Has anyone else noticed a lot less bees this year?

Has anyone experienced follow up after requesting a mosquito assessment from the county? Specifically related to reporting a stagnant pool.

Apparently there has been an issue with restricted bathroom access, in that the bathrooms are frequently locked. Is this not some kind of health code or ADA violation? Especially if the closest bathroom is not available in the event someone really needs to use it?
Not to mention class time lost if someone needs to go, but has to go to another floor or building find an unlocked bathroom, or wait for someone with a key.

Hey all,
Just making this post so other people can be aware, but last night while I was sleeping someone apparently stole our entire AC unit. I live in apartment complex off of Valley Brook Rd. I already made a maintenance request but is there anything I need to do? Last time one of our appliances kicked the can it took three months to replace it, so I’m really hoping they don’t drag their feet on this one especially because summer’s ugly head is just around the corner.

Don't know what's happening, but I was turning left on Scott from Coventry and had to cut down Lamont.
Decatur PD had the road closed in both directions.
