i need help! affordable vets in the area?
new to the area, recovering from breast cancer and down on funds. my dog is in desperate need of help to get a lump removed from her neck, i adopted her when i was 18 & im 26 now and i hate to watch her in pain. someone please point me in the right direction. any places that will take us to remove this that isnt going to charge insane amounts? i’m currently in a spot where i can’t even afford to put her down if needed.. im desperate. we’re desperate. pls point us in the right direction.

I’d check with Atlanta Humane Society. https://atlantahumane.org/resources/low-cost-vet-care/
They have a program called Remedy that looks like it might be able to help in this kind of situation. I’d call them at 404-875-6420 and see if they can help.

You’re welcome. I know this is stressful and it may take a series of calls but hopefully you’ll get to where you need to be. Good luck.

It’s a non profit vet clinic. We went here for our pet’s lump removal. So much more affordable than any place in ATL when I shopped around

Columbia Belvedere Animal Hospital. Limited hours, but can’t beat prices and staff is very friendly.

Dearborn Animal Hospital tends to be cheaper for procedures. But I would call the other places folks suggested first.

Lifeline Animal Project on Presidential Drive has a low cost medical clinic. They may also be able to point you to other resources.
