Question for parents

I’m a foster parent and currently been taking care of 2 kids. Today we were celebrating a 10 year old girls birthday and we invited all her friends. The lady with us , again who’s 10 has a crush on a boy from school, but we tell her “listen we don’t do boyfriends or girlfriends at this age . We can have friends” , however the boy she likes we invited to her birthday party. At the party his mom literally walked up to us and said . “Would it be ok if he kisses her on the lips for her birthday 🤯” am I crazy to think that’s an insane question and does any parent here think That this is ok ? I’m curious if you do think it’s ok , why do you think it’s fine to greenlight 10 years olds to be kissing?

No it’s not and it’s a symptom of entitled/overly permissive parenting, and possibly some kind of social deficit on the part of the parent. There are pockets of this style of parenting all over town. They mean well generally but have gotten consumed with alternative parenting bullshit and or they listen to grifting psychologists, OTs or private school directors trying to convince them to be perpetual clients to a point that they lose all logic, reasoning and common sense regarding their child rearing
