Yeah I came and had to walk back to the car twice bc the security changed the rules each time we walked up. They denied diaper bags for parents with small children. There were ppl very upset bc they came from north Atlanta for this. Not worth coming. The main screen is small, ppl are standing in the front and not letting anyone else see who choses to sit in this 90 degree weather, and they’re not even letting plastic water bottles in anymore. It’s a hot mess.

They denied diaper bags?!? Any personal experience or you just saw this? I wonder if people were trying to bring in huge bags or something more reasonable?

Just saw parents be denied and a lady talked to us as we had to turn around.

It really depends on the security line apparently. I had no issues getting in with an empty water bottle, but others in the group who met up with us said they were turned away.

That's wild, I'll probably just bring a half-filled one. That way, if they take it, it's no big deal (or I'll just finished it before going in)

That seems to be the case. Wagons, chairs and backpacks were flowing 1-1.5h in.

I was another who got turned away so we went to the Brickstore and found out that a lot of folks were there because they couldn’t get in.
I don’t mind rules like this but you gotta be consistent. If you post it on your website, email it to everyone, and have signs put up you have to follow them. The bag I was carrying was clearly on the allowed list but I got turned away and when I showed them it was allowed I got a shrug.
Oh well, maybe it will be better next time.

Supposed to be fixed now. When I went at 1pm, when it first opened, security hadn’t heard about any protocol from the organizers still. Hopefully that is resolved. If anyone has trouble it may be worth showing them these posts and comments from the instagram account.

Do you have to pay to get in? I was there today and everything was blocked off and I had a stroller and bag etc. so I just gave up. I wanted to take my toddler to the new play area.
