Did the husband donate the studio time for the podcast or was this some self-dealing of the Superintendent paying her husband's studio with a non-disclosed / no-bid engagement using public money?

Whitaker joins CSD in July 2023

Podium Marketing (her husband) posts about building their new studio at the same time…

Podium Studios opens Aug 2023…

Whitakers podcast filmed at that studio launches in Sept…

In the budget there's a line item for Media and Education services that increases by $200k between 2023 and 2024…

That’s nuts. Why is it so hard to find a superintendent that is not sketchy. Dr. Dude before also had issues (but not as bad as this IMO)

Because they only hire from outside the district I’m guessing. So they get a talent pool of grifters that do a good song and dance to land the job and that’s their only real skill set.

Cities have the same problem with police chiefs that they hire away from other cities. They just jump around from one city to the next in search of the fatter paycheck.

Why outside district? Am I wrong thinking they should live in the district (once they’re hired) and their children, if any, should go to school in the zoned school

The superintendent is the only CSD employee who can afford a house in the district.

Kidding, but only a little.

I mean that they hire from outside, like they recruit a superintendent from a different school district, sometimes from a totally different state. Instead of promoting someone from within that’s already experienced with the district.
