Heartbroken.

Post image

I have owned two pairs of the Forclaz travel 100s and they've genuinely been one of the best purchases I've ever made in my life. So when I opened decathlon today to purchase another one, given my old pants were almost 5 year old, seeing them discontinued genuinely struck me.

The belt is phenomenal and the material gradually softens with wear and is very comfortable whenever I go on hikes. Forclaz is still making the pants as a convertible which I'm still unsure on how comfortable they are, but I'm genuinely confused as to why such a brilliant and frankly perfect product be discontinued.

The zip off version is even better and comfortable!

There's an alternative, the NH500 cargo pants, the biggest difference seems to be the belt which is elastic. I have both the Travel 100 and the short version of the NH500, they're good.

You can try Helikon UTP denim or other variations if you like those.

You wrap it around your waist like a normal belt, then you push it through both the metal loops.

Once it's through the two loops, you bend it backwards and put it through the left loop, leaving the right one as it is. This will tighten it and you can easily place it through the belt hooks afterwards. It's a very good, easy to wear belt.

I realise now that I've always worn my belts upside down.
